Dislikes
- MBBS curriculum is bit hard which makes our life stressful.
- Managing both patients and academic for faculties is bit tough as this may compromise any of the above
- Crowded campus as the institution is a Government institute
Course Curriculum Overview
We Follow CBME 2019 Curriculum which focuses on better patient outcomes from Indian medical graduate. Self Directed learning is also part of our curriculum. We have yearly exam conducted by university.
Internships Opportunities
After the completion of MBBS we are posted in departments like surgery medicine orthopaedic Obs &Gynec and paediatrics for 12 months to gain hands on experience.we are paid a stipend of 27000 monthly.
Fees and Financial Aid
Annual Tution fees -27500 including Bus fees and other miscellaneous fees. At the time of admission library Fee 1000 has to paid. Scholarships-General EWS - Egrants scholarship by state government.OBC and other minorities - scholarship By NSP and state government. SC/ST- Top Class Scholarship for Sc/St and Egrants scholarship by Kerala state

We have Euphoria as Annual cultural fest and monthly events.We have many academic and sports clubs and coaching and mentoring are provided to nurture the talent.we have well equipped Library with Wifi
Hostel Facilities
Single and Double shared rooms with study table and chair with a good atmosphere.Mess food are well maintained and quality is assured by panel of students every week.Hostel fee is about 5000 per month

Govt.Medical College Trivandrum is Ranked 42 NIRF and 1 in kerala.we have good infrastructure and Library , college have spent 60-70cr last year for library and maintenance of academic infrastructure.

We have 400 Faculties who are best doctors in kerala.Mentor student teaching methods is mostly used. We follow CBME curriculum proposed by NMC.we have yearly exam which are bit tough.affliated to KUHS.
