Likes

The college provides good facility and other things .
It provides placement opportunity to the students as per required in their field.
The placement package in the college starts from 4 lpa and may go upto 8lpa.

Dislikes

The disliked things are that the sports is not given much importance.
The management committee is mean and look after only their needs.
They take a lot of time to complete a minimum work in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course has a lot of scope ahead in future. And this course helps to build discipline and other aspects like punctuality etc. The course offers lab facility in which we get real time world experience and other things. They teach in an innovative manner. Exams are scheduled perfectly and the difficulty level will be moderate.

Internships Opportunities

The AICTE offers internship facility to the students. There are other companies like Infosys wingspan which offers internship facility in order to improve the students in their placements and other aspects so that the students get placed.

Placement Experience

From the 5th sem the students become eligible for the campus placements and many companies have visited the campus. Tata consultancy services, Wipro, and other companies. The highest average package offerd was 8LPA . The students should maintain above 8 CGPA to be eligible for the placements. My plans are different i am going to appear for the AFACT exam try to be available for the airforce.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees for the course is 105000.The college provides good education. The fees structure differs for the students based on the category. Like the management seat will cost around 105000 . And the CET seat will cost around 80000 excluding other charges.

Campus Life

There are many events taking place like the Hackathon, Technical connection, Auto expo, Incredia and others. They are held in the months of june july and may. The books and journals are available freely in the college library. The labs are easily accessible. Classroom are comfortable. Sports are such as volleyball and cricket are given importance including other sports. There is student run groups like Airetards, SSOSC, and other clubs.

Admission

I had not applied but seen some of the colleges like shree devi Institute. But in those colleges they do not provide correct facilities for the students. The college i preferred had a smooth admission process. The eligibility was to clear CET exam and other basic aspects like above 60% in PCM subjects. I did nit get rejected by the college but i didn't like the faculty and the college premises it was kind of uncomfortable.

Faculty

The faculty members are so good especially in the aeronautical field they help us to grow potentially and dont think about anything else while they help out the students. The college conducts specially 2 internals and 1 external. The marking system is easy to moderate.

Academic Curriculum- they constantly upgrade the subjects which needs to be taught
Labs - very well equipped labs for all branches.
You can choose to drop a lab and do it in winter break or summer break

Dislikes

very less holidays only 3rd saturday is holiday and they dont give holidays for jayantis and all
Auto drivers near the college. this is pure daylight robbery

Placement Experience:

From your 7th semester you become eligible to get placed and it is mandatory to get internship before you get placed which the college helps you to get and around 400-500 companies visit, and a good amount of offers are made by them. The average package stands somewhere around 11LPA -12LPA and the highest goes to 50LPA-60LPA and the median stands around 9-10LPA.

I have been from diploma background, after diploma I joined this course as later entry (direct admission to 2nd year). In diploma also, I have studied the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) course. As I know the basic concepts about this course, it is easy for me now to understand the concepts.

Likes

Faculties are highly experienced and ready to help all the time
Good infrastructure with well equipped labs, library, sports
Adds extra curricular activities like teaching AI and other trending topics in college

Dislikes

Washrooms need to be clean and good to use especially for girls hygiene it has to be good
Hostel food is not that great and needs improvement in the quality of food
Thought schedule everyday hard to cope up with everything

Good the teachers find the best ways to make the subject interesting and teach us in the most interesting way they will help the weak students to feel the subject as a cake walk and help all the students out in the same way

Infrastructure is well established and good

Only one playground for cricket and also remaining
security are very rude but some are bit friendly

Yes our college provide placements, from final year that is 7th semester they will allow for placements, Many companies visited our college like tcs, Cognizant, indegene, microland etc and average package is 400000 and highest is 1500000 it given by oracle, Nearly 60 percent students got that is either in both technical and non technical jobs, my plans to join a IT company

Good Learning

Likes

Faculties are really well experienced by character all the faculties are humble and polite.
The college has good Infrastructure and the campus is surrounded with Trees it is very peaceful campus.
Placement support are really good with lab facilities where skill rack, NPTEL, Infosys springboard, MongoDB, IBM platform is provided for level up our skills.

Placement Experience:

Placements in our college are fairly good and students become eligible for campus placements from the final year, usually from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the campus every year and offewre opportunuties in different roles such as software developer,analyst, technical support, and other entry-level positions.

Campus Life and Social Interaction : Vibrant campus Life : The campus offer a dynamic environment with multiple student clubs , technicals societies , cultural fests ,and sports events students engaage in regular extracurricular activities.
Faculty Experience and Mentorship : Experienced faculty : The faculty at SVIT is often described as appreciable , knowledge, and supportive . professors are well - versed in there respective fields ,and many have industrial experience .
Placement support : Strong placement record: SVIT hasa good placement record ,with many students securing in top - tier companies like TCS , Wipro , Accenture, Infosys,. The college guidence through placement offers traning .

Dislikes

Collaborative Environment : Group project and assignment is core elements of curriculum with many course designed to involve group work and collaborative projects.
Cultural Activities : Are not celebrated more in semister
Collaborative learning : Communication barrier in larger teams especially working with different backgrounds or academic disciplines.

Placement Experience:

The placement at SVIT Bengaluru area quite impressive , especially in the technical field like Computer science, Civil, Electrical and Machanical Engineering.The college has a dedicated placement cell that students get the best opportunities for internship and final placement .At SVIT , Students typically become eligible for campus placement from the 7 th semester . However, the placement cell starts preparing students for interview and skill development from the 5 th semester onwards though mock interview , resume - building workshops , and personality development session.SVIT Bengaluru has strong industry connection , especially in the IT and engineering sectors .some of the companies that regularly visit the campus recruitment includes. TCS , Infosys , Wipro, Congnizant, Accenture,IBM, Capgemini ,Tech Mahendra , Amazon.High- package : The highest salary package offered in recent year was around 15 - 18 lakhs per annum for candidates . Average package: The average salary package offered is ar8 4- 5 lakhs per annum. The placement rates at SVIT is consistently high . On average , around 80-85% of eligible students get placed in good companies.

Less fees but wonderful knowledgeful experience

Particular teaching subject wise was not so clear.
Placement training courses coding wise was not that good.
Water facility sometimes was not good but it was ok nothing to dislike

Placement Experience:

1. From 7th semester onwards placement activities start. But from 1st semester itself they start training. 2. Windcare, Rinexx, Wipro, Infosys, A1 fence, Microdegree, Intellipath and so on. 3. Intellipath offers 10 lakh per annum and so on. 4. 85 percent students where getting placed. 5. To start my own venture.

An honest review

Course Curriculum Overview:

As I'm in 1st semester. I will update you after my exams. But one good thing is that from this year, internals and externals will hold same weightage i.e., 50/50 If you can score more than 45% in internals which wouldn't be that big of a deal because they'll ask most the questions from class notes. Most of the faculties are average I would say. But some are good professors too. I chose CSE because I find these topics interesting since junior school. And everyone is just jumping into cse is a reason too lol.
