Course Curriculum Overview

The course is well designed according to BCA and with proper subjects. The exams are also of nice level and are not hard or not easy, depends on the students level. Usually it is of medium level.the frequency of mst is every 2nd month

Internships Opportunities

There are many internship opportunity provided by them. Just need to have proper skills and cgpa to sit in them. They also provide international internship opportunity at the same fees as u pay in their campus

Fees and Financial Aid

The Fees for Bca is 1.5 lakhs per year without any scholarship. But you give cucet in start which gives u scholarships on the basis of the marks u scored. I got 40% scholarship so i need to pay 10000 per year as fees per year

Campus Life

They have good amount of annual and tech festivals with proper arrangements and budget.. they also have a proper library in each block with both the option for ebook and normal books. They also have lots of clubs and groups of everyone's interest.

Hostel Facilities

They have proper hostel facilities and there are lots of pg and flats nearby too if u want. The meal quality is great compared to any other college. The registration is very easy. Just need to apply through their portal and its gets alloted in few days.

Hostel Fee: INR 130000 per year

Admission

First i tried in a government college. But due to i was from General Category i didn't got admission in it then i decided to come to this university. I easily cleared their exam and got into this college.

Faculty

We have 70 students in our section with 35 per group. Each group has one faculty and are well qualified. There are 3 exams per semester. 2 are mid semester tests and then the final semester exam. They have a well organizes course structure

Honest review

Placement Experience:

In our college we have the max amount of placement is 45 lakhs which is preety good for the student who got it. For placement they also train us for our communication skills , technical skills, general knowledge skills. They give chance to all the students to give the interview in which the company can interested in us. In the last semesters or last second semesters we can eligible for the placement. The companies visited in our college like MICROSOFT, TCS, AMAZON, GOOGLE, VIPRO, IBM. My plans after getting the degree is that to find the job for in-college placement. In BCA the companies can hier us in 5 lakhs to 10 lakhs package.

Best College in North India

Placement Experience:

I heard a lot about this college as this is the best college in north India for placement, which is true also, but not for mechanical. Only CS and ECE students get placed during campus placement, but wait, it's not that easy as the placement is done along with students of C.G.C Jhanjeri and Chandigarh University. So for every job, there are hundreds of students competing. Placement cells are very friendly and they help a lot during placement time and grooming sessions.

Placement Experience:

1) The students become eligible for placements in their last semester. 2)The companies visited are Microsoft, Tcs and lupin .there are no of offers made by the companies to various students. 3)The highest package is 30lpa and average package is 8lpa and profiles offered are of software engineer, software test engineer, etc. 4)Almost 80 percent of students got placed in every companies. 5)My plan is to do a master degree after my getting the degree.

A journey

Remarks:

Every thing have a good and a bad side in it. Let's take positive first. This university offers a great infrastructure and accommodation facilities. This university can be a heaven for sports lover. There are many clubs where you can show and enhanced your skills. Going through the negative prospective some times food of mess become a threat. And the faculty as I discussed earlier needs to be updated.

A honest review

When I was finalizing my decision, I compared my choosen college with the others on various parameters such as faculty, infrastructure, ratings, reviews, placements and extra curricular activities and co curricular activities and most importantly affordability that is fee structure. I haven't applied to any other colleges other than CU itself. The admission process of my college is eligibility that is you have to pass class 12th for my course bpt. If you opt for masters then you have to present a degree of bachelors for admission. The exam accepted for admission here in cu in cuchd, cuet,etc. if you clear any of these exams with good grades then you can get easy admission here in Chandigarh University. The cut off marks depends on the university itself. But try to score good to get admission here. The overall admission process for me was smooth from starting to the end.
