Likes
- I like that there are many events which engage students, giving us a much-needed break from the academic pressure.
- I like that they have already started training us for the placement opportunities from the 1st semester.
- I like that the University campus has all facilities like a grocery store, a Mart as well as a mall. We don't need to go outside the campus at all unless we want to go for an outing or trip.

Course Curriculum Overview
I chose this course as I am interested in human resource development and management. This course would help me enhance my knowledge and skills on human resources from a business perspective. The professors provide case studies and we are taken on industrial visits to help understand how to apply our knowledge in a real life business situation.
Internships Opportunities
I am yet to be eligible for the placement opportunities provided by the University. However, I have heard from the seniors about companies such as Amazon, Deloitte, Microsoft, Infosys and others that are invited to offer internships and jobs to students.
Placement Experience
The students are eligible for campus placements from the 4th semester in the 2nd year. However, training for these placements have started from the 1st semester itself. Students have been placed in companies such as Amazon, Deloitte, Infosys, Microsoft, etc.
Fees and Financial Aid
I am pursuing the MBA (HR) course from 2024-26. The tuition fee is 2,00,000 INR per year which can be paid by quarterly, semester-wise or annually. I have opted for the hostel facility as well for which the fee is 1,50,000 INR per year. They provide scholarships on the tuition fee depending on academic performance. It will stay the same for the current batch. It may increase for the next batch of students. I was given a discount of 50,000 INR per year as I had opted for the hostel facility. The registration fee was 5,000 INR, the admission fee was 2,000 INR, there was a club fee of 10,000 INR. The uniform is provided by the University for which the fee is 5,100 INR. There is also an exam fee of 7000 INR which is paid semester-wise.
Campus Life
The over-all campus experience for me has been really good. The faculty are encouraging and supportive. The mess food is balanced and given in good quantity. There is a Mart, mall and restaurants inside the University campus which makes daily life really convenient. The campus is really big with a large ground where sports such as cricket and football are played. They have a tennis court and a basketball court as well. There is a gym and a place for indoor games like TT and badminton as well. Wifi is available 24/7.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are separate for boys and girls. The rooms are AC 3-sharing. There is a closet with a cupboards and a bathroom and a toilet. 3 beds with a matress and pillow are given. The rooms are spacious and there is a balcony as well. The hostel mess is located underground. The food is really tasty and healthy. 4 meals per day is given including snacks.
Admission
I applied at NIMS University, Jaipur as it had been recommended to me by a friend who had taken a similar course here in the past. She emphasized on its placement facilities and that encouraged me to apply here. The admission process was really smooth. I had come the visit the University with my parents before taking admission. The academic counselors were really friendly and explained everything about the course in detail.
Faculty
The faculty are really helpful. They give us notes and recommend books which are really enriching. One thing I really likes is that they give us case studies which helps us practically analyse the theoretical knowledge we are gaining. They take us on industrial visits as well. There are 4 main exams annually - 2 internals which occur mid-semester and 2 semester exams. Other than that we are marked on the basis of our assignments and attendence.
