What Students Say?
Likes
- The college places students for internships every year in all the fields ranging from NGOs to corporates
- The discipline and the management of the university is very sound
Dislikes
- The attendance schedule is too rigid to follow
- There is no time for extra curriculars and internships
Course Curriculum Overview
In my personal opinion, the curriculum is outdated and useless in real life. It is redundant and just there for the namesake. The university is more focussed on attendance rather than the course content taught.
Internships Opportunities
The college does offer internships in various management fields in great companies like Deloitte and JP Morgan. The college focusses on placing each and every student with equal rigour and efforts making sure that none get left behind
Placement Experience
The college does guarantee above 90% placement rate and everyone joins this college for its placement rate. The ones not obtaining the placement opt for family business or further studies. The placement committee is quite sound and committed to getting each and every student placed
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
The fees are around 3-4 lakh rupees per year, plus activity fees ranging anywhere from 20000-30000 rupees per year and book prices around 10000 rupees per year which is compulsory. People scoring 90% and above in their 12th board exams are eligible for scholarships as long as they maintain a 7.5 cgpa
Campus Life
There are multiple clubs and committees, however, the students have to miss out on attendance which is a big deal in this college, overall, participating in clubs and committees clashes with the academic environment and the professors aren't very supportive about it.
Admission
I only applied to one other college because I applied last minute and didn't have much options. However I believe that even after considering the negatives for this college it's still way better than the other ones in terms of discipline and management.
Faculty
There is one professor for 70 students per subject. There are continuous exams of different types depending upon the course and faculty. They range from midterms, endsems, quizzes, individual assignment and group assignment.
Interview Experience
They do hold interviews but they are only for the namesake. Interviews don't matter as much as my interview went pathetic and I got selected immediately anyway. The college mostly focussed on academic achievements more than GD PIs.
