My Review on Saveetha Engineering College

In our college, the positive thing is the placement department of our college worked hard to bring us the companies every week and provided us a vast knowledge about the placement and quality education.. also through out the academic years I passed through, faculty members treated us as the friend and provided us the good study materials for the exams.. the only negative remark is the college impose heavy fine over any inproper act and its consequences.

Course Curriculum is based on Anna university Syllabus and the internal exam structure of Saveetha is, they conduct 2 Internal Exams called CIA for 50marks consisting of 5 2marks 2 13 marks and 1 15 Mark and one model exam before semester exam for 100 marks consisting of 10 2marks 5 13marks 1 15 marks.

Saveetha Placement Department does a lot of effort to place the students of Saveetha, placement department brought us lots of companies whether it is a small or big, they made us to enroll and get placed, they mostly brought us the core companies most often like Capgemini,IBM,Tech Mahendra etc and also sent the students for off campus placement held at different places, they also brought us BPO's too. Before the placements college provide us a specific company training on placement questions and stuffs.

Pongal Celebration- The Grand Pre Celebration of Pongal Festival of Tamil Nadu SaVeeGaMaa - It is a annual Cultural and sports meet conducted every year DRESTEIN - A National Level Symposium conducted every year to explore the technical knowledge of students Other Celebration - Republic Day, Oonam, Independence Day etc

1) Tuition fee is feasible via Anna University Counselling.. 2)Transportation Fee is bit Expensive they provide two type of bus facility a) AC Bus - 45000 b) Non AC Bus - 30000 The only issue is the fee of transportation is constant and doesn't depends on distance. 3) Hostel Fee is Moderate and they provide 8in1,3in1,2in1 and also single room with a/c and non a/c the fee depends upon.

I have been facilitated to avail the alumni association scholarship which was funded by the alumni of our college. College also provide other government scholarship to the students who applies for. But the only thing is they take more time to clear the scholarship amount and cheque to the students.

Extra Curricular Activities of Saveetha is Good not bad, they conduct sports meet every year to honor the sports personalities of our college. Saveetha also has its own official college cricket,football,kabadi teams to participate in intercollege and zonal matches. Talking about culturals Saveetha encourages the students to explore and expose their cultural activities every year through the cultural named SaVeeGaMaa. On the other hand labs are well facilitated and equipped..

No, I am a day scholar, My friend who is being in hostel shared me a experience that they have decent rooms with decent facilities but the water problem exist every day. The Hostel is good to accommodate and it also has good WiFi facilities.

Yes, Saveetha maintains a alumni association to rejoin and get togethers every Republic day, they also arrange for the for alumni every year and for current students voice of alumni is also arranged frequently

1)Initially I have applied for Anna university counselling through the forms provided by them.. 2)They sent me a mail consisting of my date of counselling based in my cut off marks obtained in my 12th class 3)I appeared for the counselling on the day.. they took blood test, health checkups and other stuffs 4) I appeared in my counselling window and chosen Saveetha Engineering College 5) they gave me a letter to admit in college 6) I took and submitted in Saveetha and joined by submitting all the documents and Mark sheets 7) further fee payments are processed

Facilities are very much friendly and they provide a shoulder to shoulder help, they help us a lot to clear the papers and improve the knowledge of the tool, they also guide us to do the hands-on experiments without any objections
