Course Curriculum Overview
We follow a OBE syllabus which is best adapted for the current outside situation. Faculties also have weekly meetings among themselves to discuss to tackle issues and problems of the students to bring the best outcome possible.
Internships Opportunities
As a health professional my internship os for 6 months in kasturba hospital and tma pai hospital in karkala and udupi. These postings are still going on right now. The postings have a lot of clinical exposure for our curriculum. Across various departments of hospitals we will be rotating.
Fees and Financial Aid
Year wise tuition fees: 220000 inclusive of other miscellaneous fees A caution deposit of 10000 to be paid towards the first year fee Karnataka Students who have graduated their 12th from certain public and private schools have discounted fees. There are scholarships available for students who excel for the academic year merit cum scholarship available
Campus Life
Campus life is pretty good we have a lot of clubs from different colleges throughout the universities and even within MCHP there are a lot of clubs. I was a VSO volunteer too and this volunteering really gave a good exposure and boost to my career growth and learning new skills
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is not that great the amount of money they take is too much for these kind of hostels. Reported snakes and rats have always been found in the rooms during moonson. Kinda scary. But the house keeping service is really the best they work hard for cleaning up each room with polite attitude.
Admission
Manipal has always been the top colleges in the country for the course which i have always wanted. Other reason is strictly the clinical aspect which as an health professional is important, Manipal gave a very excellent and effective clinical exposure throughout the years.
Faculty
There is no specific ratio as such as any of our faculties are available to our questions any time of the day and they clarify the doubts till you understand. I liked all of my faculties each have their strengths and weakness, as a student i learned a lot from my faculties.
