Course Curriculum Overview
I always wanted to be a psychologist and help out people in need so I guess that's why I chose this course. I also relate to this issue of needing to talk to someone and feeling out of place .The curriculum is very well made for real world application. The only thing to improve is to reduce the amount of submissions cause there's a lot of assignments but still handleable. Exams are also close to each other which I guess can be an issue but if u study from the start it won't be that bad. Exams are not that hard either
Internships Opportunities
I don't have much of an idea but internships are provided after every semester with very good companies. Internship with stipend is also offered but obviously not a lot of them because they are rare in nature.
Placement Experience
I don't know much about placement packages but I know that Jindal provides good placements after graduation and makes the students better prepared for the real world . I plan to go for masters after my degree
Fees and Financial Aid
My family will be paying close to 10 Lakh a year for my course which is actually BA/B.Sc psychology(hnrs) all inclusive and there is a scholarship based on merit and income of family so it can be affordable. I didn't receive scholarship but others can. The fees for others is also close to mine if not lesser. According to fees the facilities provided and opportunities provided are good . There's even international relations with foreign universities to study abroad.
Campus Life
There's a lot of fests and events here. I guess the most infamous one is biswamil. It attracts a lot of attention and is a great experience. The library is open to issue books till 12 and there's reading rooms open 24/7 so there's no issues there . Online any reading material can be accessed from the library site. There's a good amount of tech in class too with smart boards, good speakers , mics , Air conditioners etc. There's a large amount of clubs and groups here .
Hostel Facilities
Room has study tables a nice bathroom and shower . Good beds and vending machines in all hostels. There is also ACs. Meals are better in comparison to other universities it has a lot of diversity and it tastes pretty good. Once you get admission and u live outside of Sonipat or some distance I don't know what but u get alloted hostels.
Admission
I applied to Ashoka , Bennett, amity , and gd Goenka university other than Jindal. I got rejected in Ashoka but Jindal was just a better college for me in comparison to the others with its liberal approach, good faculty and world class facilities . I got rejected by Ashoka probably because of my application. I should have given it more time.
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is perfect. Tha faculty is very reachable and open to helping out the students. My favourite faculties include Nisha phakey and Tejas sir . They try their best to teach the students in easier methods and give breaks and even let us leave early. They don't give homework and are understanding . There are mid terms quizzes and end terms . So far I have given mid term and quiz and they are moderately hard . End term won't be hard if we study. Exams are application based and require understanding rather than rote learning
