Dislikes
- Inner infrastructure is not good..Water tabs and washroom are not cleaned properly
- Have strict rules and regulation should be followed by student if not then they charge fine for it..A student cannot go outside the college permises without application..
- The placement for bba students whether finance or general offers basically sales type role no finance type roles are offered..
Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate the BBA course curriculum at Aravali college of engineering and management as moderately relevant but not fully comprehensive..It gives you a basic academic foundation not real industry readiness...If you come here expecting that your finance skill will by boosted to the top they you are just fooling yourself..The course works only if you treat it as a base layer and build aggresively upon it.. One of the main reason the curriculum looks attractive is it is subject mix. Core subjects like financial accounting, corporate accounting, business economics ,taxation , banking and financial management make it seem aligned with finance related careers.. The areas they should improve is to provide more practical exposure rather than focuses on theoretical knowledge.. Timing of exam will be 3 hrs for external final university exam and 2 hrs for two internal assessment..Difficulty level is moderate, not to difficult and not easy...
Internships Opportunities
Internship is provided manily in startups and small companies...Like AIIMS at palampur, cognizen..The role is same as placement which is sales..Students need to call customers asking them to buy the products providing them qualties of products that's it... I am suggesting students to not depend on college for internships and placements if they want job rather than sales... Stipend in internships is sometimes unpaid and sometimes the companies provide 2 to 3 thousand not more than it...
Placement Experience
Students become eligible from 5th semester for campus placement..Companies like TCS, Policy bazaar, bajaj insurance visited the campus but the role they offered is mostly of sales even for finance students the package is mostly started form 3lpa to 6lpa for fresh BBA students... Highest package of the college for bba student is 12LPA and the average package would be 3.5LPA.. 80 to 90 percent were getting placed but as i said earlier the role are mostly of sales so many student opted out with themselves from placement.. My plans is i want to go in finance field and working on it pursuing a financial modelling course with my degree..After getting the degree and completing my financial modellung course i will enter in finance world and gonna pursure MBA with my job
Fees and Financial Aid
For BBA Finance at Aravali College of Engineering and Management, the fee structure is simple and realistic. The total fee for the full 3-year course is around ?2.25 lakh, which means about ?75,000 per year as tuition. Apart from this, students have to pay usual university and exam related charges every year, so the actual yearly outflow is slightly higher. Hostel, food, transport, books, and other personal expenses are not included in this fee and can add a significant amount if opted for. Scholarships are available through government schemes and a few college-level merit-based options, but they are limited and not assured most students receive only partial support, not full fee waivers. For BCA the fees is ?78000 per year and for post graduate like MBA it is ?1,08000 per year depend on the specification you choose...
Campus Life
College organise fest every year..They don't charge anything from students for fest..Students participate in the fest with tgeir dancing skills, singing skills, open mic, acting skills etc..A celebrity mostly singer also performed during the fest..There are various clubs students can join as per their liking..Sports meet is also organised by the college every year students participated in it and get certificate and prizes... Students who got position in fest or in sports meet will also get prize money which will encourage other students to participate and give their best.. Clubs and social groups are run by students and college help them to balanced their life so that the clubs works will not affect the academics..
Admission
I have applied for echelong institute and also got selected their but the location is far from my area so i rejected my decision to go their... I choose aravali college of engineering and management because it is near my location and also the fee structure and placement is more in this college than other.. Admission process of aravali college is simple you can get direct admission just after giving an entrance exam and the exam is so easy to pass also if you get good marks in it then you will also get some relief in your fees... Overall admission experience is good no delays..No any hidden charges...
Faculty
Faculty student ratio is roughly 1:30 -35 which is manageable but not ideal for personalized attention...Faculty - student interaction is mostly depend on teacher while some of the accounts and finance teacher are approcable and explain concepts patiently.. I liked Sangam sir from management department and a finance teacher..I liked them because he always supported my always encouraged me and help me understand the concept of finance easily.. There were 2 internal assessment and 1 external final univeristy exam..internal assessment is of 50 marks per subject and external is of 75 marks per subject..The exam difficulty is moderate not much hard and not much easy..One can pass the exam with regular attendance and self study..
