What Students Say

Likes

The infrastructure including labs and libraries were good.
The teaching quality was a standout, with faculty members always available for guidance and mentorship.
I also enjoyed the strong campus life with multiple clubs and events that enhanced the overall experience.

Dislikes

I felt that the placement services needed improvement, especially in securing internships.
The campus canteen could benefit from better food services and there is crowd every time.
The attendance taking system was not good.

Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate the course curriculum highly in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. The curriculum's emphasis on practical applications, especially in programming and database management, influenced my decision to choose this course. Exams were held twice a semester and their difficulty level was moderate, testing both theoretical understanding and practical skills.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 78000 per year

Placement Experience

From 6th semester (3rd year 2nd sem) students become eligible for campus placements. The percentage of getting placements is low but however the average package would be around 4lpa and the highest package would be 12lpa.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fees when I took admission in year 2020 was 78000/- and from that I got epass scholarship of 35000/- and I belong to OC category. Apart from tuition fees library fees, crt fees, special fees, and others cost around 10000/- per year. I also received pragati scholarship worth 50000/- every year which is a merit based scholarship only for girl students provided by AICTE. My friends who belong to SC and ST have got full fee reimbursement of 78000/- and the additional fees like library fees, crt fees, special fees and others which cost around 10000/- they have to pay.

Campus Life

Every year annual day will be conducted. Ikarus fest was conducted 2 times Invicta fest was conducted once There are clubs like rotaract clun and anti ragging club and DSA team. All sports like cricket, basket ball, volley ball and indoor games are also offered.

Admission

I have written TS EAMCET exam and got rank 16510. I have applied around 8-10 colleges and I got seat in KG Reddy College of Engineering and Technology which was my 5th preference. As I belong to OC category and my rank is 16510 I din't get seat in 1st most preffered colleges.

Faculty

The faculty-to-student ratio at my college was around 1:20 which allowed for personalized attention and mentorship. Most faculty members were approachable and always willing to clarify doubts. Proffesors like Narsimulu sir who taught Mathematics 1 and Harikrishna sir who taught java stood out for their teaching methods. Mid Exams were held twice a semester.

The course is nice but I would like to say that it is a little bit outdated.We use the syllabus provided by osmania university.The teaching methods here are very interactive though and they help us pass our hard external exams.

Placement Experience:

Placements start from 6th sem. Amazon, Infosys, optum visit. Highest package is around ?50LPA, avg ?3.5 LPA. Around 75% placed. I plan to prepare for ppo opportunites and take up internships post degree.

My BTech experience at CMR Technical Campus 21-25 batch

Placement Experience:

Around 40% to 50% of students get placed in entire college. It is totally based on the skill of the student if students has very good skill training and placement officer also offers to apply for companies which only takes skilled students the college is totally computer science and only one section has ECE which is comparatively has less placements compared to other deparments since there is no computer science background this is the drawback for taking Electronics and Communication but if students are skilled in the Electronics backgroung Veda IIT which provides internship and job oppurtunities in VLSI and Embedded Systems but the student has to be a skilled person in the electronics subjects.

A great place to learn and grow

Placement Experience:

Many companies and product based startups provided different opportunites for different roles like technical support engineer intern etc to 1st year students with a stipend of 15k to 30k. I mean this is huge for a student who just started his learning.

Placement Experience:

At the end of 7th semester campus placements facilities are offered to the students most companies visit to the college to offer placements to the students from different sectors from ed tech to financial sector and ther offers made are count to 70% of the students A minimum of 50% of students get placed as of my research the average packege is 20LPA and highest packege is near to 68LPA offered to a ece student My plans after btech degeree is to pursue mba because enginnering is not my cup of tea

I had no choice to apply for this college as by the time I tried to apply for a college it was already late and admissions in other colleges were closed.
