Remarks

College management is impressive.The structure of campus is so good.The average marks for the management is 8.5 out of 10.

I took admission through RPET. I have no option for any other college because my rank is low.

Internships Opportunities

My internship experience is not good none of the companies are interested in our college .all the students make their intern by private coachings.

My stream is ece only related to ceramic branch companies visited to our college .The only chance to get a job is off campus placement.

College Events

Sakshama is the name of our festival .It is the only thing which is good in the campus during my b.tech.all over rajasthan the students take part in the technical event such as robo socce ,robo race, robo war,etc.

Scholarship for sc, st, and for bpl is available.

Campus Life

Every year in sports week college organize some sports events like cricket ,foootball , table tennis , kabaddi etc.Gender ratio is 2:1 boy and girl respectively Students also organised events on some days such as teachers day ,enginners day, hindi divas etc.Seminars also organised by students.

Hostels are good nd fees is also in a budget cooking staff is good .

External Expense: Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

All the senior are good and helpfull.They guide us for our bright futue.

Faculty

Faculty of gcet is not good because lack of permanent faculty.All the teaching staff is from guest faculty.

Placement Experience:

In our college the students are elgible to sit in campus placement from third year , there comes a lot of companies in our college which comes here for placement drive and some for providing internship .Some of the companies that comes in our college are L&T, Deloitte , Capegemini, Reliance , TCS , TCE, Wipro, Infosys, miniorange, Berger paints ,Amazon etc . The highest package from this college is of 44 LPA which was from CSE branch and given by Amazon and the average package ranges around 6.5 LPA for almost every branch . Every year almost 80 percent of students get placed around here and some of them leaves placement for further studies and also some took admission in many premier institutes for getting higher education.

SKIT- The overall package

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible after 4th semester for placements. There are many companies that have visited like Vipro, IBM, TCS and many more among the 150 companies that visit the campus. THe highest offer made was to a senio of mine of about 43 lpa and the average package is of about 5-6 LPA. The lowest package offered was of about 3 LPA. About 90 percent of students get placements and if for any reason i do not get placed, I would try for CDS that is the armed forces of India

Life at BTU,Bikaner

I had applied for MBM,Jodhpur and RTU,Kota . The reasons are firstly they are more closer to my home town Jaipur , secondly they have better infrastructure, more educated faculty and MBM has its own mining site(I want to explore it). Also the environment of Kota and Jodhpur is more promising and satisfactory as compared to that of Bikaner. I did't got admission there because of my low reap rank or say JEE exam. Admission process is quite simple . I got admission through REAP(Rajasthan engineering Admission Process) which evaluates your JEE score(entrance exam for IITs , IIITs,NITs and GFTIs) and 12th score and gives a ranking .The eligibilty criteria for this course is passing class10+2. The college also provides direct admission on the basis of 12th score . During the admission process student must have to carry all the documents along with the passport size photograph . It is more convenient to bring a guardian or any member that is more comfortable for that process....Read More
