- Little bit far from city and market about 3-4 kilometres
- Hospital is also far from campus that is 5-6 kilometres
- There's no fast food brand like dominos or Mcd in whole city
Course Curriculum Overview
Course curriculum is know focused on more bedside teaching rather than of lectures of theory. You can have an idea of patient by looking at them in real-time while learning things of that particular condition and have a great idea about that situation of patient.
Internships Opportunities
Intership is a part of MBBS Curriculum and it is provided in our District hospital of Firozabad for 1 year. In this 1 year , student is posted in all department turn by turn for practical knowledge of clinics.
Fees and Financial Aid
At my time, first at admission 25000 is for academic fees and 4800 for hostel fees yearly for both. But for 2nd, 3rd and 4th year 15000 is for academic fees and 4800 for hostel fees yearly. Every year there's also examination fees which is 7-10k once a year. Now fees for academic and hostel has increased, now total of 40k has been charged for academic and hostel both.
Campus Life
Campus Life is also good , environment of college life is bit stressed due to course and syllabus but friendly environment will help you to get out from this stress environment. Infrastructure is good here , stadium has been there adjacent to college so students can play there. Fest and festival has been celebrated every year here.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is available in Autonomous State Medical College Firozabad for annual charge of 4800 in which you get a room with one person and you get one bed, mattress, almirah, study table, chair and stool. Electricity and water supply is available 24/7 here. Washrooms are well built with geysers and showers.
Admission
As my rank was little low , so I can't get any higher colleges but I chose this college over other because hospital of this college is very old and known and have very good amount of patient load and infrastructure of campus is also new and developed.
Faculty
At my time faculty was there but less due to new college But now faculty has been appointed and there's lot of faculty present in every subject Faculty is very supportive for students and help them in issues and problems Course structure is vast and lengthy. In one year two internal exams and one final exam is taken for every year students. Marking scheme is normal as of normal Medical College.
