Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum is well balanced and highly organized and syllabus is finished before the examinations as per curriculum. They offer clinical practices frequently which makes us deal with real life situations like dealing with farmers and their problems etc to experience real situations .it gives experience and also to make us understand the importance of this degree. A wonderful course but can be improved if teachers are somewhat more considerate.most of them are but some aren't.

Internships Opportunities

3

Didn't reach upto that level but heard that offers from foreign..you are eligible for NAVEL . companies do hire placements offered. Paid internship. But ous is very less as compared to other colleges offering paid internship

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no scholarship sadly for students that came through any quota . It's only applicable to Haryana residents and those who get it have to be in top 15 percent of class on merit basis. Fees is more for J&k students and also there is no scholarship . Each year it's approximately near 50000 including all expenses like tuition fee etc.The fees for my batchmates who belongs from the state is comparatively less than 50000 and for girls belonging to the state it's even lesser like 23000 . scholarship is only for students of Haryana fir boys it's 16000 and for girls it's 23000

Campus Life

3

Campus Life is good. Well maintained environment. No clubs nothing ..only a Fresher's to invite new commers and that too students arrange. No social groups..all technologies like smart board in every class helps in efficient learning of students..easy for teachers too. Very large library..all books provided but computers and all

Hostel Facilities

2.5

After 2nd year complition only you get your own compartment But with 2 other girls in the same room but different compartment. Cleaniness maintained.fogging done in monsoons .Nhe for girls within hostel with ac and wifi. Meal and it's affordability fir good in the initial years but not quality is degrading and prices have raised . Affordable fees

Admission

Veterinary is a much more interesting course as compared to any other course available. Also this college provides paid intership and prepares us to face real life problems. It is never to Mbbs but all are crazy after it so there is lot of competition but this course not only gives you the same amount of respect but also the same experience and you require skills to be a good veterinarian.my 12 percentage was 97 percentage I was getting addmission in top 3 DU colleges but I rejected them because I know at some point I will get bored as there is no experience gain whatsoever. And got into this college on quota

Faculty

3.5

For each course minimum 2 teachers and students are about around 70. Any faculty member who doesn't do partiality is highly appreciated and they have to understand paper marks are not the criteria to judge students. Medium level of exams . 3 internals for each subject throughout the year and in the end externals with practicals

Course Curriculum Overview:

I like the curriculum. It is very systematic and interesting. It makes the course more engaging with the distribution of subjects and everything. The theory and practicals are so interesting. If a student tries to relate, they can certainly get a lot of knowledge for real world and operations The teaching methods are also good. It would be nicer if practical knowledge was provided in 1st 2nd and 3rd year but it is usually not given in any college for veterinary so it's not something wrong. The exam date timings are not bad, usually there is gap of around 1 to 1.5 month between each internal exam and then there are prep leaves for external exams. The only sad part is that it takes a lot of time since each subject has 2 exams for externals with syllabus divided.
