Likes

The atmosphere of the college is very nice.
The faculties are very much understanding and are always available..
SRM organises many events for the students and there are many clubs to join in..

Dislikes

The mess food is not that much good here.
The strength of students is more so in most of the events everyone doesn't get a chance to watch
They is a little partiality between the north n south students

Course Curriculum Overview

The thing is that in first year they use to teach mix courses like physics chem maths eee semiconductor and bio. There is no main focus on coding and all. The main problem is how a Pcm student could do bio though its credit is less but why he would do bio. The exam is also moderate

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies that approaches SRM for placements more than 250-300 companies come here every year and the highest package was around 1.2 cr the main recruitments are done from the networking field.

From 2nd year the students become eligible for placements... Srm is the only university where google and Microsoft used to come first for recruitment or internships with a nice package offer. 95% students get on campus placements and many gets off campus ... My plan is to go foreign after the bachelors to do the masters

Fees and Financial Aid

Year wise fees is 4,75,000 for Cse core and Aiml Where as other courses have diff like other specialization in cse costs 4,50,000 per year. The fees has been increased this year due to the increase in the admissions..

Campus Life

MILAN RENDEZVOUS PANACEA are the amin events held in SRM moreover every week there is an event in the campus that keeps the students active.. the library could be widely accesedd with all types of books.. Moreover the sports facilities too much better..

Hostel Facilities

Coming on the hostel mess it is somewhat ok ok not that much good. They maintain less hygiene and the taste of food is also not that much good... Hostels are also costly.. the menu is good but with less items

I applied to vit Vellore sit symbiosis pune and many more colleges and was selected in all of them.. i choosed srm because of its name and the connection it have with foreign universities and the wide range of courses it offers for students

Faculty

Faculty is very nice to all the students there is not a all any issuee... We can approach the faculties whenever we need their help.. the pps and maths faculties are the best There are three cycle test and one semester exam

Overall Good Experience at EEC

Likes

good infrastructure, clean campus and well equipped classrooms and labs.
Faculty members are supportive and explain concepts clearly with practical examples.
Good placement opportunities, career guidance and opportunities to participate in activities.

Dislikes

The workload can be huge sometimes, especially during examinations and project submissions.
some subjects could include more practical and industry-oriented learning
More campus activities and student interactions opportunities would improve campus life.

Placement Experience:

Students can join job drives from the 7th term. Many firms visit the campus for jobs and offer roles in tech and other fields. The pay varies by firm and role. EEC has a good job rate and gives help for job prep. After my degree, I plan to work in the tech field and grow my skills.

An average of more than 90% of rhe students were placed during my term. Companies like amazon, juspay, adobe, hcl, cts, tcs, adp etc came and there are 500 companies that visisted our campus during my batch

Experienced faculties, their constant encouragement to students to participate in seminars, lectures, internships, intercollegiate programs and other research based conferences and activities.
The college had good infrastructure, modern laboratories, smart classrooms, sports facilities and a slate clean campus.
The placement cell, incubation cell, and intellectual property cell of our college are easily approachable and they help in developing our ideas, patenting and registering them.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum covers important subjects such as cell biology, microbiology, biochemistry, genetics, immunology, bio processing, principles of chemical engineering, and wr have hands on practice through pur well-equipped laboratory sessions.

This is the best college overall

Likes

The curriculum provided is really nice and understandable.
It is relevant and is effective as well.
The boy girl ratio is on the other hand a little less as in 45:15.

Dislikes

The way some facilities behave with students is really bad especially in our branch.
Some facilities are too rude and they often don’t want to listen to students point of view

Placement Experience:

Students are open to campus placements from 2nd year onwards. There are many companies who visit such as Delloite, Accenture, Cognizant, TCS, Amazon, NatWest, Nokia, etc. Highest package offered is 42 lpa and lowest is maybe 2-4lpa. Around 90% of students get placed here. My plans is to get a job through campus recruitment. Currently I got an internship through campus recruitment in Cognizant so the recruitment is quite nice here.

Placement Training and Career development at CIT

In my college , I experienced diversed equality and gained more knowledge by training staffs and assessments

Placement Experience:

One thing I really need to appreciate at CIT is its placement training program. The placement team conducts regular sessions on 1. aptitude 2. coding 3. communication skills 4. group discussions and 5. interview preparation which helped me feel more confident during placements. The trainers were friendly and always encouraged us to improve our skills step by step. They provide continuous guidance and feedback throughout the training process. Mock interviews and one to one assessments helped me to understand my strength and weak areas and I work on improvements . These sessions not only improved my technical and communication skills but also boosted my confidence . The placement training team played an important role in preparing me for career opportunities and industry expectation

My bad campus life

Likes

The environment is very good.its very natural atmosphere.
Teaching and facilitys are nice.we can learn very much.
The all facility is near by near .its a good thing.

Dislikes

The management is very bad.they not consider our students.
The fees structure is very different for all students.its too bad.and they decided the fees category is very cheep.
The hostel facility is not good.and also food its very bad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Actually i like computer jobs. So i selected the course. Its very different one. Mainly programming. But its very interesting and valuable.cse computer science is a very high value course and i have lot of opportunities after completing the course. I.think in this types of course in curriculum they want to include practical sections more than text books.

Likes

The thing I most liked is the campus the infrastructue
There are a many clubs so it's exciting for people who like other things then studies
The opportunities as well the alumini network

Dislikes

The campus is very crowded there are many people compared to other colleges
The category wise fee structure and the increasing fees
Charges for hostel are little more then others

Placement Experience:

As of my information the placements are pretty decent..first the placements used to take place in Vellore campus but I guess jow they have started here as well ..as of my opinion the placement stars from the 7th semester

Placement is very excellent in this college. Nearly all eligibility students get placed every year. Many recruiters are recruiting their employees through this college. The minimum package is 3 lakh per annum.

Paramedicals pros and cons

Colleges which I have applied for was Sree Ramachandra institute in tamil nadu, MGR University IISER But I only got confirmed admission from SRM by writing a medical entrance exam. The reason why I chose this course was because my family friend also joined here for architecture and she said the placements are top notch and it provides multiple opportunities abroad I got rejection from IISER because I failed in entrance exam.
