Course Curriculum Overview

i choose cse branch as placements of this course is high here the faculty student ratio is not much as it is 1:8. All the faculty members are good and expert in their field. All exams occur timely which are not very hard to clear

Internships Opportunities

For CSE / IT students this year some companies like Amazon, SAP Labs, HighRadius, Navriti, UHG came for hiring Interns. Only 3rd year (2–3 months summer internship) and 4 th year (6 months internship during 8th sem ) students were allowed to appear for campus Internship. So either you get hired through the campus Internship or you have to manage it by yourself

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for internship at the end of 2nd year i.e 4 th sem and become eligible for placement at the end of 3rd year i e 6th sem. The placement percentage is almost 89% this year with highest in cse branch.

Fees and Financial Aid

Total fee for completion of Btech is almost 9 to 10 lakh. However, tuition fee (65000 per semester) is waived of for sc , st and ebc students. 2/3 of tuition fee is waived of for students with family income less than 5 lakh

Campus Life

The campus is not that extravanging. Mostly classes of 1 st and 2nd year held on cwrs as there is no space in department buildings . We have a separate basketball court. we have clubs for almost everything like photography, drama,etc

Admission

we need to clear jee main with a good rank. Only jee main scores are accepted here.Any rank around 15k will get you cse branch of this college for open catogory. The admission follows the councelling from josaa and then csab according to jee main rank. The only thing to dislike here is the size of campus but the new campus is being built in bihta which will be ready to use by june 2024

We have two exams in a semester - mid sem and end sem. Both of these totals to 90 marks. For additional 10 marks, we have assignments, class tests and class performances and are completely on subject faculty

A Comprehensive Insight into IIT PATNA

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester,the students become eligible for the campus placements. Recently Samsung company visited our college and hired some people. Last year(2023), the highest package offered was 82.05 lpa from Amazon. Some other top recruiters include Cognizant, Adobe, some consultant companies like Collegedunia,etc Last year then percentage for students getting placed was 98.65% (in CSE) Overall it was 85% . My plan is to clear the Gate entrance exam and pursue higher studies from top institutes.

Tier 3 college but good enviornment

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placement in 7th semester. The colege placements has increased in recent years with better companies visiting. Company visiting are prism cement, tcs, wipro and many sales vompany Around 10 companies visit during placements Lowest package is 3.6 lpa and highest package is 6.5 lpa Around 90% of cse students are placed, 30% mechanical and ee students. Civil students dont opt for placements. I am currently preparing for civil services exams. Plan to get a govenment job.

The tag of NIT and the location were 2 important reasonsNever had the interest in coding and always had an interest in electrical right from 12th class. Though NIT Patna was formed in 2004. It was Patna university from before. In 2004 there were only 3 branches which are core branches. So through students we got to know about the equipment in lab, faculty and resources for Electrical students. and thus decided that it would be better to do B.Tech in Electrical from NIT Patna.
