Course Curriculum Overview

4

The cirriculum ensures that the students have a proper understanding of the course while not feeling pressurised like for example subjects like family law, indian penal code and contract law are divided into 2 semesters so that the students would get clear understanding of the fundamentals. The frequency of exams are twice in 6 months that is every 2 months and the timing would be for mid semester exams 2 hours and end semester exams 3 hours. The exams are moderately difficult so that the clear understanding of the students could be understood.

Placement Experience

4

The students become eligible for placements from 4th year in the law school. I plan to join a corporate firm or write the judiciary exam after getting the degree. The percentage of students getting placed from our university is more than half.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees any category would be paying is ? 2,00,000. There are various scholarships available based on merit where you can avail upto 25% discount and sports scholarships and 100% scholarship was also introduced recently for economically backward people.

Campus Life

4

We have annual hackathons and annual fests named alliance one and the alliance gala every year. A few smaller fests keep having throughout the year as well. Each classroom is equipped with a black board, white board, pc, projector and cc cameras. There are various grounds for sports like basketball ground, football ground, cricket ground, volleyball ground and multipurpose ground and extracurricular activities like different clubs for music, fashion, dance, yoga, happiness etc are offered on campus.

Hostel Facilities

4

I have chosen a double occupancy room so I was provided with a bed, study table and chair, cupboard and a small rack for books. All the rooms have hot water access. The meal quality is good and different varieties are served everyday so that the students are not tired of eating the same thing.

Admission

I've applied to a lot of colleged and I've gotten selected into Jindhal Global Law School, Symbiosis law school Hyderabad, UPES dehradun etc but I chose Alliance over them for the course structure and the campus life. I got rejection from NLSIU and NLUD because I lacked gk skills so I would suggest anyone who is looking into joining law to make sure that they have a strong gk base. My college accepts admission through LSAT, CLAT or our own admission test. After a student passes the admission test they will be asked to give a personal interview before the selection is done.

Faculty

4

The faculty to student relationship is great in alliance as the faculties are highly approachable and are always ready to help us out with everything. My personal favourite faculties were Sukanya ma'am and Mukul sir for their teaching style as they ensure that even the least interested person in the class pays attention In every semester we have 2 main exams that is the mid-semester exam and the semester end exam. Along with this we have during semester assignments which help the students in being involved.

Interview Experience

4

I had to write a written test and give a personal interview as well which focused on my hobbies, why did I choose law and other questions related to law. I prepared by using google and watching other interviewers.

It is better to start internship in 2nd or 3rd year for proper legal understanding before a student graduates from the college. The college will provide practical knowledge but it does not encounter proper real life situatons.
