great infrastructure among the universities I've ever seen
great faculties they will assist you in your ups and downs
people in Chandigarh University is really nice gives you a home feeling

Dislikes

people in Chandigarh University is not good with English if you doesn't know Hindi or punjabi it will be hard to thrive
too many dogs inside the campus if you're scared of them it will give you hard time
they are claiming that every lecture halls are air conditioned. but its not working in every or they're not turning it on

chandigarh universities give a wide oppurtunity for placements companies like microsoft amazon walt disney IBM flipkart wide number of companies you can do internships in any of them the stipend will be varying but i think its starts from 20,000

the placement rate is quite good while comparing to other universities but the package wont be that high students will be eligible for placements after the second year i think managment students will get much placements thus many companies are picking the students from chnadigarh university

since chnadigrah university proviides scholarships, i succsesfully attained the scholarship of 50 percentile thus my tution fees is 80500 per semester it will reduced to half there are special scholarships for sc/st you can find it in the chandigarh university website

Campus Life

the campus life is next level the main thing is their infrastructure which attracts the students more and they do have pretty awesome libraries. they use advanced technologies to teach students will help the teachers to invest less energy and teach students efficiently

Admission

chnadigarh university is well known for their sudies and their reputation their infrastructure is one of the main attraction while comparing to other colleges as well they provide scholarships to most of their students

Faculty

the faculty to student ratio is quite good and they try to maintain a healthy relationship with students. all the faculties are kind and helpful for both academic and non academic matters exams are quite average if you just study the main topics you can easily pass in every of them

Chandigarh University: Is it worth the investment?

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placements from 5th semester. The companies visited per year are approximately 200. They claim 100% placements but in reality they divide students into placement and non- placement batches called tpp and ntpp. If you slip up even once, you will be debarred from the tpp group. The highest package is 53 LPA. The average package is 4.5 LPA. Companies like JP Morgan, TCS, Capgemini, PlaySimple, Cognizant, Nokia, Philips, Morgan Stanley, PWC, KPMG, EPAM, Watchguard, High radius, OYO, Coding Ninjas, Samsung, etc have already came. More companies are yet to come. Since the student intake is too much, placements are really hard to get since there is too much competition. In the end, people get hired in mass recruitment companies and get minimum pay of 3-4 lpa. My plans are apply for off-campus jobs and start working in corporate after the degree. If I don't get a job, I haven't decided what I will do next.

A genuine review of LPU university specially for agriculture students

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to sit in placements after 7th semester , there's interview based skill classes from 1st semester , for agriculture students companies like itc agro , dhanuka , corteva visit for in campus placements . Average package for agri students is 5-6 lakhs , nearly 75-80% students get placement offers . I'm planning to do buisness after my graduation or takeover my family buisness .

Placement Experience:

At LPU, students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th semester. Big companies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, Accenture and many others visit the campus. In 2025, more than 2,200 companies came and offered 6,000+ jobs. The highest package touched ?3 crore (international) and around ?62 LPA (domestic). For CSE, the average is around ?7–8 LPA, and the top 25% students bag an average of ?10 LPA+. MBA students had up to 95% placements, with the highest at ?29 LPA and average around ?8 LPA. Most students get placed if they are consistent. My plan after degree is to grab a good placement, keep building my skills in tech, and later explore higher studies or startups depending on where life takes me.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good but I am more looking towards offcampus placements. I will do internships from my second year and in first year I'll make the base. I contacted to some of the seniors they said doing hardwork will definitely lead to a good package.

Placement Experience:

After 4 semester students are eligible for sitting in placements. There are alot of company visiting and alot of them take 2-3 with really good package and some handful with good enough packages of nearly10 lpa and the highest package was i think of in last month was of around 60 lpa . My plans after getting a degree is too work my way through companies to a FAANG Companies

From the second year itself students are eligible for campus placements and the companies right now visited are more than 80 + like Amazon Google Microsoft etc the highest package right now in our college 2.5 crore right now as a fresher more than 80% are getting placements which I can I can see and many used to start they own startups and get success in their field as help you teachers them and give them opportunity to learn and do startups and my plan after getting a degree is if you get a placement and huge packages and get a experience from them and to start my own business

I didn't apply to any other college. I chose it because it was close to my home. The admission process to give CUCAT exam for which the fees is 1000 rupees. The passing marks are 40 out of 100.
