Course Curriculum Overview

I was interested in computers since school that's what lead me into choosing it. The course prepares you for real life by giving exposure to coding, developing applications and improving your problem solving abilities.

Class Size: 64Course Fees: INR 294000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Golman Sachs, Cisco, Microsoft, JP Morgan, Dell All these companies provided internship. There are more but right now I remember these only. All these companies hired for the role of SDE. The exams of these companies were medium level

Placement Experience

Placements are average and amidst the recession period placements were not good even in IITs. I was able to secure placement through my college. If one is determined and willing to study he/she can easily grab placement offers. Top companies like Cisco, Dell, Accenture, TCS, Schneider also came.

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees I paid was 2,94,000 and the overall course fees was 11.2lakh. There are many scholarships also available like domicile state scholarship, scholarships based on board results and many more. Caution fees was 15k, registration fees 10k, admission fees was 15k.

Campus Life

The annual fest in my college is Oneiros. It happends on a grand scale. It is organised for 3 days and each day is amazing. We also have many clubs in our college and they are very active. Sports events are also held

Admission

I was not able to clear JEE so I applied to other private colleges. Manipal is a reputed college and I had some knowns studying here and they spoke good of Manipal, so that's why I decided to study here and it was also in the same city from which I belong so that was an added benefit.

Faculty

There are many teachers for a particular course. Some professors were very knowledgeable and helpful and I got to learn from them. Some professors were not that good. Overall it was a mixed experience. We have two mid term exams and one final exam (end term exam). The exams are mostly medium. Most people are able to pass the exams.

Placement Experience:

Jecrc have average placement they show 55 lakh package on advisement and 6 lakh at average placement, but I talked with senior they say placement is not good from jecrc. But I thought have good placement in jecrc university.

Decent college for the girls

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for summer internship (after 3rd year) from start of 3rd year (5th sem) and for the placements, companies come to the college from 7th semester onwards. Companies like jo Morgan, Deloitte, Flipkart, goldman sachs , PepsiCo ,oracle,bny ,ubs , rippling etc come here for placements, some of them come for 2months and 6months internship too. Average package offered by them is 9-10 lpa , jpmc , Goldman, visa they offer till 12 lpa and it can go up for some of the companies . Most of the companies allow to sit for 6.5cgpa and above but some of them allows 7.5 and above cgpa and jpmc allows 8.5cgpa and plus as far I know till now . I am currently looking forward to work in a company and get a placement.

The field of elctronics and communication engineering allows one to deal with electronics and learn all the possible tinkering with them which is a very fascinating part as all the gadgets possible today were made of them. The curriculum does satisfy this thirst by teaching about them in the class of electronics and electricals and then experimenting in the lab with them . The areas for improvement could be that if a student is interested in a specific field then should be allowed to venture that field throughly instead of sitting in every class , but that is an imrovement for the indian education system as as whole . Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I like computer science and I can see my future in this course. The current ratio in computer science courses is around 1:5. And we don't have technical communication teaching at present and the college is saying that they will recruit teachers as soon as possible. The student-teacher ratio in all the branches is around 1:3. All facilities are well qualified and teach well but they are not permanent and hence they may or may not be changed next year. There are two semesters in each year and an examination is conducted after each semester. The difficulty level of these exams ranges from moderate to difficult.

Life at Manipal University Jaipur

Manipal University Jaipur is the nearest college to me and very convenient. Also, if I'm getting the quality education without spending extra money on hostel and other conveyance, then why would I choose the far ones. Additionally, in the beiginning, the campus attracted me, later on, the quality education left me stuck here, and then the wonderful, full of life environment is the speciality of this campus. I never got any rejections from any colleges because i've never applied for anyone. Admission process here is so simple. You must pass 10+2 with atleast 60% for Bachelor's degree, and 60% in your bachelor's for admission in PG courses. Also, Manipal organizes entrance exam to let the students avail the scholarships.
