Likes

They provide good infrastructure they have clean environment they have good labs where you can learn
The classes are clean they clean the classes every day hygiene is good
The clubs in the college are best they are very helpful in development of students

Dislikes

The canteen should get upgraded they can make it a little big because lunch time the place get crowded
They can change security guards they are very rude to others
They need to built a good connection between students and them they should tell every notice in class

Course Curriculum Overview

My course is btech cse in which there are 6 subject in 1st sem the dlcd and mathematics is tougher than other 4 subjects the curriculum doesn't prepare you for real world the are for improvement in the real world

Placement Experience

From 4th semester students are eligible for campus placement and the placement of the college is good but not excellent the company that visits are ibm,TCS, Microsoft,etc The higest package is above 50 lakh and average package is 4 to 5 lakh

Fees and Financial Aid

The year wise fees is nearly 130000 in which the tution fees is 55000 per semester and 5000 is caution money and 1000 is registration fees and and the remaining amount is for development and lab fees The fees of my batchmate are same but they will be getting scholarship based on their cast sc students will get about 40000 to 50000 in scholarship and the OBC students will get 32000 of yearly scholarship If your brother or sister is studying currently in this college you will get extra 25000 off and if you have scored more than 65 percent in board you will get another 25000 off if you have more than 60 percentile in jee you don't have to give admission test that is svet

The names of ar vr club is kaushal they organize events every year they are best for knowing the world of ar/vr The library is huge you can get any book related to course offered by college and some other books the

Admission

I applied in davv and I got seat in btech mechanical branch and don't really want to do mechanical engineering I want to become software engineering that's why I choose btech cse in this college and the reason I choose this college is I have friends in this college and the college is only 7 km far from my home so it easy and convenient for me to go this college the admission process of my college is pretty simple if you have more than 60 percentile you will get direct admission exam accepted for my course is jee,cuet, boards

Faculty

The ratio of faculty to students is 1:10 the faculty to students relationship is good but you know not every person is same one or two are rude and if you want to approach to the faculty it is normal and cool you can ask any questions any time they will assist you and the teacher of our digital logic circuits design are good they are very helpful in class explain everything in detail and help students there are some teacher that students don't like because of their rude behaviour there are 2 exam per semester one is MST mid semester term and another is semester exam MST is not really tough but the semester exam are little tough

Average college with no placements and exposure

Likes

I like infrastructure of the campus... infrastructure are very beautiful.
Library. I like library facilities college provide and we can take book from there.
Canteen not..much but I likes this average

Dislikes

Placement their is no placement or limit placement only 2-3LPA
Bus Facility their Very poor bus facilities
Labs their labs computer are not working properly

Course Curriculum Overview:

i would rate the curriculum around 5 or 6 out of 10. i chose this course mainly because of the computer and coding subjects. the syllabus is mostly theory based and many topics are not very useful for current industry needs. practical classes and real projects are also limited. more coding, projects and updated technologies should be added. exams are frequent during the semester and the difficulty is mostly average but sometimes checking feels strict.

My Experience at college

Likes

I like the overall campus environment and the friendly atmosphere of the college. The faculty members and supportive and explain the subjects well. There are also different activities and events where students can participate and interact with others
The infrastructure and basic facilities are good. I also like that the course provides opportunities to learn technical skills and prepare for placements.s

Dislikes

The college experience is good overall, but some areas need improvement. Placement opportunities could be better and more companies should be invited for campus recruitment.
Practical learning and industry-oriented training can also be increased. Sometimes administrative work takes more time than expected.
The infrastructure is decent, but some facilities could be improved and maintained better

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the course as good and useful .I chose BCA because it has key areas like coding,data,web work and other IT skills.The course gives a good base for jobs and also helps students who want to study more. The course can be better with more lab work,live tasks and job based skills.Teachers can use more real life cases and demos in class. There are tests and final exams each term.The exam level is fair and can be managed with good study.

Faculties are full supportive (except some faculty)

Oldest College of all over india and first E&TC branch opened in JEC

Dislikes

Zero college life beacuse everyone not get govt. Hostel
Campus distributed because of two way highway
No internship and entrepreneurship opportunity are there

Course Curriculum Overview:

There is totally outdated syllabus that was not relevant for current or future technologies. No fully functional labs, outdated machines and some machines are not working. There is no regular lab class and if have then you will write the practical file intesd of learning about machines.

Likes

I liked the overall campus environment of the university . The campus is quite large ,clean and has good infrastructure.
The labs in college in are well equipped especially for computer science student . some system have configuration like 16 gb ram .
the faculty member are supportive and helpful. teachers are always ready to guide student , clear doubts and personal situation whenever needed

Dislikes

the quality of mess food is average and sometimes not up to expections. There are limited option and some food combination not liked by students
There are single water cooler in available , which sometimes create problem for both boys and girls.
we are sometimes fined for low attendance ,bunking class or even sitting in the canteen during lecture hours

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is decent but not exceptionsal. it covers the basic and important subject required for the course so you dont get a good theoritical understanding. However some parts of the syllabus feel outdated and fully aligned with current industry requirments. the course had a good mix of course subjects and some practical components on paper which looked promising at the time of admission. The overall structure seemed relevent for building foundational knowledge.

I like the campus of college and it is very clean comparing to other institutes.
I like the placement given by our college and also rate of placement.

i like everything about my college and it is very good

from 7th semester studentd are eligible for placement in companies like google microsoft cisco etc. the highest package is 51 lpa and average package is 3.5 lpa. percentage of students getting placed 70%. i plan to get a high package after comnpleting my degree

Faculty members are knowledgeable, supportive, and helpful in academics , exam, and projects. Teaching focuses on fundamentals and practical understanding
The campus has good classrooms , labs , library, and sports facilities .The environments is friendly and suitable for learning.
The placement cell is active and provides training for aptitudes, and interviews. The curriculum is relevant and helps builds a strong technical base.

Dislikes

Industry exposure and live projects opportunities can be improved .
More companies can be invited for placements
i don't thing there's anything i don't like now

Best IIIT in terms of campus life as it has over 150 acres of lush green campus with almost every amenities.
College has been improving its recent cultural status and activities by organizing events like Infotsav- Annual Tech fest. The girls to boys ratio is around 1:5 which is decent.
all faculties are phD holders and highly qualified in their respective domain.

Dislikes

Course curriculum is little bit on a harder side especially grading schemes. Some profs may deliberately give low grades.
not that great alumini network despite being the oldest iiit
semester lasts for only 4 months which may prevent many club events and exploration

Placement Experience:

For 4 yr courses, on campus placement drive begins in 7th sem and occur in 2phases in 7th and 8th sem. For 5 yr courses, the same in 9th and 10th sem. In 2025, All tech giants like, google(16 selected), oracle(5 selected), microsoft(3 selected), de-shaw(3 selected), groww(10 selected), american express(10 selected), Nutanix (6 selected), amazon (8 selected). Highest domestic was by de-shaw 67 lpa to 3 students. average package of cse was 27lpa , it+mtech 29lpa and it+mba 28 lpa. 214 students were placed out of 224 registered with a perecentage of 95 %.

I really like cleanliness in washroom and also in the college. I really like trees in college.
Faculty was really good and my subject teacher was teaching in a right way.
In this college the boys and girls in the ratio of 3:1.

Dislikes

Uniform is not allow in this college. I have no many clothes to wear day by day.
I don't like college timing. In winter season timing was not good.
Our campus is very small. And college fest is very less in this college.

Placement Experience:

In 7 semester students become eligible for campus placements. Many companies visited in this college like Wipro, Cisco, infosys, etc. Highest package in this college is 20 lakhs. Average package is 5 lakhs My plans after getting the degree is getting good job.

pros and cons of sviit indore
