Course Curriculum Overview

4

Being a doctor is very prestigious profession but it comes with its responsiblities as well. This is the course in which whatever they teach you is required to become a good doctor. The medical curriculum has been set by the NMC and every college follows that cirriculum only. The exams are really tough and studying every day is extremely important to pass exams. One thing that can be changed by NMC is that they can reduce 6 subjects from final year to second year or either third year

Internships Opportunities

4

The internship is compulsory after the completion of the course(4.5yeras) according to NMC. The intenship should be done in the hospital of the college you have graduated from stipend is very less. There is no placements provided by any medical college after completion of course all the doctors go for a PG after MBBS and the job opportunities after plain MBBS are very low

Fees and Financial Aid

This is a deemed college so there is no benifits for reservation the fees of the course when i joined the college was 25.5lakh/year but from the year 2024 it has been increased to 27lakh/year. The fees of the hostel is 75000/year and mess fees are roughly 4000/month (mess follows a split bill system). There is security deposit for college and hostel which is 50000 each that means together 1lakh security deposit which is to paid for one time only. There is no scholarship provided

Campus Life

4.5

There are close to zero culturals or events in this college only one fest is conducted in the entire year. The library is really big and air conditioned it has all the books by all the authors and atleast more than 10 copies of every book. The college has many conferences on different advancements and different departments of the medical field and i think that is really helpful to do better in your career. No sports competitions as such but college has many facilities to play sports

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel room comes with a cot a cupboard and a table and chair and all the basic things like fan light etc the washrooms of the hostel are not attched in boys hostel but in girls hostel they are attached to the room. But the common washrooms in boys hostel are really well maintained and clean. The food is average if i had to rate it out of 10 i would give it a 5 the hygiene is great but the taste is not upto the mark. Registration process is really simple you can opt for a hostel during admission procedure. Mess has non veg food as well. The hostel is really affordable because it is just 75000 a year

Admission

I applied to acs medical college ,meenakshi medical college, MGM medical college and all the deemed colleges of rahasthan i got a conformation from one rajasthan college but when i compared both the colleges on basis of patient flow academics and infrastructure i found this college to be way better . The entire admission process is controlled by MCC which counducts online counselling and allots colleges. The allotment is completely based on marks that is allotment through merit. To be eleigible for counselling you need to score 50%ile marks in NEET UG exam. There is no offline allotment for medical colleges

Faculty

5

There are more than 10 faculties in every department excluding the PG students. Most of the facilities are easily approchable and faculties are always there to help you. Few faculties i would like to mention is Dr. Durge Devi (HOD Anatomy) and Dr.Rahe (prof. Anatomy) these faculties are best at teaching and are always up to help you cant mention many names but these are one of my favourite faculties. There are as such no faculties which i didnt like almost all the facultites are great. There are 4 internal assessment exams every year and one final university exam you dont need to pass the internal assesment but passing university is essential if you fail in university they will conduct a supplemetry exam but if you fail that as well you will have to sit back again for that year that is you wont go to next year. Many students fail first attempt but most of them pass in supplementty close to zero students stay back in same year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

It deals with patient care and clinical diagnosis along with hands on training the influenced my decision to take up this course. Through ward postings, history taking and case discussion it prepares me well for my PG exams and further future pursuits. Skill based learning should be emphasised more along with small group teaching. Sometimes the close spacing of exams can be very stressful. Difficulty level is appropriate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the course is very challenging obviously as we're studying to become doctors. it could've been better by increasing the duration of the course. our first year/ semester instead of it being for 12 months was only of 9-10 months so our portions are being pushed a little. it happened due the scam etc around neet and our course start date was pushed. the course could be made easier by increasing the duration of the course. we have exams every week which does make it easier to keep up with the portions but makes it too stressful for us. maybe instead of keeping exams on monday they could change it to saturday so we can relax and be free on sundays.

Placement Experience:

The students in their internship will get around 35000 per month excluding their mess fees, they have the option to opt out of the mess. And once they finish their internship they had to do two years bond in places where the colleges allot them and the salary for those two years will be decided by the place the person goes and itll be definitely more than what they get during internship.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The college strictly follows NMC rules and which is a very good thing as it helps us prepare for both theory and practical as theory give u the vast knowledge and practical allows us to imply what we learnt and also after the new rules of introducing histology we can also apply the idea of more creativity in a field a lot of creativity is yet to be unfolded they also cover important aspects through regular workshops and educate us with guest lectures from other colleges the important improvement which should be done is having the patience to teach a. Crowd of 250 which teachers should undergo special 2-3 classes to make sure they know what they teach is being reached out to everyone the timing of exam and everything is on time theh give us enough time to prepare and get ready
