Likes

Student teacher ratio in the classroom is appropriate here.
Faculties are well trained here and courses are kept upgrading over the time. Supportive and friendly staff.
It has some special features like opting for other subjects in different courses because it is autonomous.

Dislikes

Placement is the major con of this college. Irregular trend in the average placements number.
Brutal fights in the campus for different reasons.
Improper water drainage system makes it difficult to reach classes of you have car or bike.

Course Curriculum Overview

Wide spectrum of knowledge is available via this computer science engineering course. Through internships it trains us to tackle the real world problems. Minimize the focus on writing codes on paper instead of computers. frequency of exam is quite well here.

Internships Opportunities

Internships are available from second year onwards with paid and unpaid form. Different types of projects are held done in the college regarding technical and other field of knowledge. Last year a student did internship in Tesla.

Placement Experience

From 6th semester students are eligible for in campus placements, companies like TCS and Infosys comes up here for placements this year highest package is 52.6 lpa and the average is 4.75 lpa. On an average 37% of students get placed this year. My plan after getting degree is doing masters from foreign universities.

Fees and Financial Aid

64500 is the per semester fees and 129000 is the annual. No scholarships available for merit students. If you're alloted with tfw seat in the mp dte councelling then you will have fees deduction. Otherwise no scholarships available even for categories like sc st. My batchmates fees is similar to mine.

Campus Life

There are so many other facilities available for students who are interested in different fields like sports, ncc, arts, singing, dancing etc. there are separate clubs in the college for different activities. A few of them are run by the students but mostly organised by faculties.

Admission

After giving the jee mains exam. Through mp dte councelling I was alloted in this college. I had opted for other colleges like iet davv, sgsits, uec ujjain and others. Since I got computer science branch and this college is autonomous which provides course flexibility and freedom to choose your interested subjects.

Faculty

65:1 is the student teacher ratio in the classroom. Faculties are easily approachable via phone call and their cabins. I liked my Linear algebra teacher Dr Neha Yadav ma'am for her strictness and eagerness to teach. The worst teacher is my programming for problem solving teacher who always read notes and just resite in front of students. There are 6 exams per year in which 2 are the main exams and 4 are mid sem tests

Average placements, Good infrastructure and Good placements

Placement Experience:

I think for 7th and 8th semister students are eligible for the campus placements. The companies like tcs, Amazon, Capgemini, D mart and etc and some other companies. The highest package is about 8 lacs and the lowest package around 2 lacs. The good number of students are placed in the college and like 20 to 40 percentage students have placed in college placements. After getting this degree I will try for a job or I will go for master's.

Life at OIST, Bhopal

Placement Experience:

In our college, placements take place in the final year of the course. By 7th semester, students are eligible to sit for placements. The placement opportunities are quite decent, an average package consists of 5 - 6 LPA every year. Several companies visit our campus like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, Cisco, etc. Now, startups also started to visit for placements. Highest package has been 72 LPA, and every year in off campus as well, many students achieve high package like 8 - 12 LPA. Nearly 70% of students gets placed, also some students has other plans for their future. About me, I think of going for placements in my final year for which I have started preparation.

Excellent college and unbeatable placement

Placement Experience:

After 10th semester the student are available for campus placement Cap Gemini kpit Amazon apple and Google and many other companies are visited in my call is the average package of my college is 6 lakh and the highest package of my colleges 50 lakh about 17% students are getting of placement plan in the student a job is in the Google company average salary from reviews include that the average salary can be low despite Google placement are management of few reviews point out that the management is not always a student focused and from spectrum of the colleges operations could be improved college provider placement as compared to other colleges but college management are not good our very helpful for our students our colleges are very good and and facilities of placement but our colleges are not available in pure water in and drink not available in not available drinking water

College placement are good as compared to other colleges because in recession time only tit college provides placement for our students so college placement are better but if you are hardworking man or women so your package is better so if you take good package so start hardwork or discipline in college academic. This college average package is also better than other colleges like lnct, oriental because this college average package is something 4 to 5lpa and highest package is something 50 lpa. And also very good companies visit our college like TCS, Capgemini,Hcl ,Sap etc and also advantage of college because this college tie up with Capgemini or kpit companies

My journey through Engineering and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The placements are good and offer strong opportunities for both full time roles and internships. Students are eligible for placements from 2nd year. Most companies approach from 3rd year. Many reputed companies visit the campus for placements, inluding D.E Shaw, Goldmann Sachs, Flipkart, Meesho, Accenture. Many people are placed from college from cse, ece from other branches its quite less. Overall the placement ecosystem is highly supportive and prepares students for their professional careers.
