SRM Entrance Test. I got rank about 3000 and I was willing to take civil engineering and I got it easily at this Rank.

Internships Opportunities

Lots and Lots of companies visit SRM every year. They all had their criteria and if you are eligible you can apply.Maintain your pointer and placement is guaranteed.

Placement Experience

Nearly all of the students gets placed in srm but many leave their placements because some opt for higher courses and others don't get job in their respective fields.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many scholarships are available if you perform If you are in top of your class your college fees is halved. Semester abroad program is available if you qualify for it you get opportunity to study abroad in any tie up colleges with srm.

Campus Life

There is fairly 10 to 8 ratio of boys to girls. Civil and mechanical has got more boys than girls. Everyone is treated equal. Lots of sports goes around in college. Every sport has a college team which I know goes very seldom for competitions. Labs are good and has all facilities.

College is ragging free and seniors interact with you easily. Fests are organised through co ordination of seniors and juniors.Teachers will help you in finding internships training programs.

After 6 semester the students are eligible for all the core and it placements. For us the core companies are Capgemini tech pub(32), sopra steria(5) and boeing . The highest package is 8lpa and average is 5 lpa Out of 100 55 students are getting placed each year. I got placement in Capgemini and I am working on Capgemini.

Is VIT worth it

Placement Experience:

Placements in VIT UNIVERSITY is very good the average package is 8 lakhs and the Highest may go upto 1 crore every year.There is a separate placement cell in VIT chennai and they give you placement training from start of the third year. Many multinational companies like google, microsoft etc comes to VIT to pick students for their company. Almost 98 percent of the students gets places in VIT. After my degree I choose to sit for placements.

I applied at PDEU, Gandhinagar and SRMIST and both colleges admissions were almost done but since my family is from Chennai, we al decided to stay close to home atleast for UG.
