Course Curriculum Overview
The aspects which influenced my decision to choose this course was growing arena of entrepreneurship in our country and all over the world. The areas of improvement were such that there must be practical case studies relevant to course.
Internships Opportunities
I'm not specifically aware of internship activities because it was too less in our college. But there were some internships in companies like Axis Bank, TCS, HDB Finance etc. The roles were relationship officers, loan advisors etc
Placement Experience
From semester 5, students become eligible for campus placements. The companies visited were Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, TCS etc. The highest package was 200000 and average package was 130000. Around 60% student who were set up in these placements got placements. I planned to prepare for competitive exams.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions
Fees were around 10000 per year. Scholarships can be availed through government's National Scholarship Scheme per year 10000. There were no hidden charges. Though books shall be purchased by students on their own.
Campus Life
Anual function was held every year, musical mornings were held twice in a year. All festivals were celebrated. There were digital boards, projectors, CCTVs in every classrooms. Sports were given quite importance in our college. There is special sports room.
Admission
I have applied to many colleges like SPB Commerce College, KP Commerce College, DRB College etc. But I chose this college because this college is easier for me to reach by public transport and this college also provides better environment then these colleges. I got approval from every college I applied. Admission process was not so difficult. You just have to give all the required documents, fill the forms, give the fees and it's done.
Faculty
The faculties were quite helpful to every students. The faculty-to-student ratio was good. Every subject was shared by two faculties in half half portion. Relationship of faculties with students was cordial and teachers were always approachable when students need them. I like Neha ma'am who study us statistics because she always speak in humble way no metter how angry she is on you and she always ready to get you understand anything from subject no metter how many times. There were no such faculties whom I don't like. There two exams In each samaster one is internal exam and second is external exam. External exams were some difficult. Around 30% student fail to clear the exam. The course curriculum was 70% relevant.
