I liked the practical education system , I mean the labs.
Also the discipline that students maintain.

My family Tod me to took this course and also.i liked it, I mean it was a new world to explore so I took it. It please me totally. I don't think any improvement is needed cuz the teaching is really good. Exams are good and not that difficult.

I haven't done any internship through college so I don't know much about it bt I know that the college support students on this case I have done project on library management and also some backend and frontend project and also.some othe web development projects

Placement Experience

After 6th semester the students are eligible for placements Highest package this year was 8.2 of Infosys and average it's 4 lpa 60 Percent minimum is required to sit in placements Im thinking of getting placement or doing mtech.

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a lateral entry student so for 3rd and 4th sem 1.2lakh rupees including hostel fee 5th 75000 6th 69000 7th 64000 A scholarship named post matric scholarship was provided in which we got 20000 rupees.

Campus Life

As I told earlier I like the festivals held in our university like Ganesh puja, Saraswati Puja, Biswakarma puja, also annual function like Basant samabesh and the galexia where we give fare well to our seniors are there Every year the sports function is also done.

Hostel Facilities

Hostels are really good the warden takes care of us and provides us with necessary things too We get 4 times food in a day , breakfast, lunch , dinner , super . And the food quality and quantity is good too. Locality is good too The hostel fees are taken along with the semester fee

Admission

I chose this college because it's one of the oldest and famous college Also I had to move from my own city to study properly Also the placements here are better so I choose it I got here through OJEE after completing my diploma.

In our branch there are more than 40 faculties and 75 Students in the class. There are 2 exams in a semester One is mid sem and another one is end sem I haven't seen anyone fail in my class up untill now The teachers are really good

Placement Experience:

the placement is also not that much great. they are very few companies TCS and Infosys are the mass recuriter here . The core companies are close to null . So you have to go to only to the IT companies that to at a very low package . My students work for as low as 2.5 lac per annum . This year almost everybody was between 3lac to 10lac bracket . The highest on campus package are about 25 lac . Not more than that most of time. and the average package is almost about 3-4 lac per annum . The percentage of the students placed is also really bad . Most of the students have to hurdle by himself.

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem the students became eligible for campus selection. Companies like Infosys, EVEREADY, ACC , ultratech and many more offering annual packages starting from 2lakhs to 8lakhs. Highest 8lakhs annual packages and average was like 3.5lakh to 4.5 lakh. Approximately 70 to 80 percentage of students are getting placements every year. After getting the degree i want to do a job in electrical companies.

I choose this course because at first I was interested to automobile engineering but I didn't got it from other college so I preffered this mechanical engineering. It is a very though course as it seems. And there was 1:7 for faculty and student ratio. Faculties were highly qualified and some did PhD and m. Tech and other are fresher. The teaching skill differ person to person. The thermodynamics faculty was very excellent. In every year there was 2 semester and it is a little difficult. I have applied to only Outr(formerly Cet Bhubaneswar). I have applied on the technical branches, but got none of them as my rank was around 152000.
