Likes

The infrastructure of the college is very well designed and well oriented.
The hostel facility is very good and the mess food was also good
The labs and the classrooms have all the facilities needed for a student

Dislikes

The college was too much crowdy. Too much of rush
Few of the teachers were very rude to the students
The locals around the campus were very bad

Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculam was very well prepared and designed. It consisted all the important subjects which are needed for the industry level placement preparation. The curriculam was well alligned with the industry which helped many students to prepare for placements and crack interviews.

Class Size: 45Course Fees: INR 350000 per year

Placement Experience

The placement of our college is very good. Many students gets placed into companies falling in marque, super dream and dream category. Companies also offer a good stipend and CTC to the students. Companies such as Amazon, JP Morgan, Bosch, Razorpay and many more visited the college and took many students on the basis of there skills

Fees and Financial Aid

The yearly fees of SRM is 3.5 LPA for a Computer science engineering student The fees of rupees 3.5 LPA includes all times of fees such as tuition fees, development fees, lab fees and other charges On the other category we have fees of ruppees 4.5 LPA for the students who took late admissions Scholarships is given on the basis of the score of the student in SRMJEE Exams. Also, there is a scholarship for students who score top CGPA in the first year will get fees consession in the second year.

Campus Life

The college life for the students in srm is very goof. They will have multiple events in cutural and technical fields. Events such as AARUSH and MILAN will take place.The student clubs will also organize few events such as dsa events for the students

Admission

I choosed SRM University because of there placements. The placement in SRM is absolutely fabulous. The faculty and teachers are also very helpful in being helping for the preparation. Other than SRM i tried for VIT but when i compared the fees of both the colleges SRM fees was quite okay than the VIT

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio in my class was 1:45. Few faculties were very good and approachable but few were very rude and not solving our doubts. Tanmay sir who taught us maths were very good. He was very helpful and always ready to clear our doubts. Dhanashekaran sir was very bad as a faculty. He taught us Web development and he himself didn't had any knowledge about the subject, There will be total of 3 internal exams. One assignment will be given by the faculty and at the end of semester we will be having end semester exams

Our placements are as good as any college or university in India. Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, Deloitte, and any company which is into software comes at our campus for placements. Average stands at 8 lakhs but students of our campus has grabbed packages of 50 LPA as well.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

Placement Experience:

So from 6-7th semester they offers placements before that we have placement training in campus.So highest package for 2024 was 45 to 50 lpa,good offer given by amazon and other company also.So the average package is 7.5 lpa and highest package was 50 lpa.so 925 application are accepted in last 2 monts .My plans to get job and then after 2 years may be for higher study or startups.

Why SRM is better than other collages.

I chose this because of good placements and they have average of 7.5 lakhs.Compare to vit vellor or any other collage srm has good placements and good way to explore.To get admission we need to pay 10000 rs to lock the seat and then aftee filling the forms we need to pay hostel and collage fees....Read More

Chose SRM University mainly because of its strong reputation in engineering, excellent infray,and placement opportunities.I has applied to a few other private universities like VIT Vellore and Manipal University.while I did get a confirmed admission from one,i felt SRM had a more vibrant campus life,better connectivity to Chennai City, and a strong alumni network. The Student Life at SRM IST

I am a dropper, I got 75k something rank but that year cutoff for the colleges in Delhi skyrocketed for general category like nothing before. So I didn't get any college in Delhi, took a drop and applied then here at this college and Amity University Noida. I cleared both bht I preferred this college over Amity University because of many reasons - fees, cultural activities, student crowd, placement.
