Entrance Exam

It's a good curriculum that covers all the subjects needed for an upcoming engineer even every year the regulation's will be changed. Such that according to the requirement of the society the syllabus will be changed accordingly.

My college doesn't provide internship. you need to hunt for internships outside and the stipend depends on your talent. I went for Ashok Leyland internship, where I wasn't provided any stipend but, I got a chance to learning new things.

Placements are good for the students who got more than 7.0 cpga. Most of the companies visit the college but, you need to satisfy their requirements such that, they can hire you. Even the students with low cgpa and arrears even get selected in jobs but, they won't be paid more than 15k. So it's better to improve one's skills.

There are two main events in my college, firstly Aarush and another event. These are national level techno events. Celebrities will be invited to the fest and the celebrations are to the sky. Thereafter there are so many events like symposiums and etc.

It's a bit expensive for a middle class family. For tuition fee itself, it's like 3 lakhs and it varies for every course. And the booking fee involves 15 thousand and the extra academic courses involve 15 thousand and the hostel fee is like around 1 lakh

For the people who got 1st rank in the Srmjee will get a scholarship which includes no tuition fee and even the students of the national level selected in sports get the same scholarship. There are so many loan facilities available by the college. You need to provide some required documents and the loan gets approved.

There are many clubs around in srm. Such that one can choose, whatever they are interested in. There are clubs based on automobiles, dance, networking, programming and dance, nss. There are so many labs for every department with all the facilities available. There are so many grounds for cricket, football, badminton and more.

The hostel is of two types ac and nonac. Here nonac, rooms are worst and you can't even sleep during summer times. Ac rooms are best and when we talk about infrastructure its good enough and ratings are Nonac hostels: 2.5/5 Ac hostels: 3.5/5

We usually have some meetings every semester, where our alumni students come and give some advice and clear the doubts of the people of students. Even our seniors are very friendly in nature such that, they help in many aspects. Even we have some integrated projects

Here the exam structure involves three internal exams. Where 50% of the marks will be taken and thereafter the rest of the marks will be taken from semester exams. And for labs, its the same procedure.

Simple, I gave an entrance exam and got selected. Thereafter, I received a mail from college then. I visited the college and submitted all the required documents like 10th,12th certificates, and some id proofs.

My college faculty is good, I can't say it best. It's like, the senior staff have more knowledge and the can face any type of doubts you encounter them. And they are good at teaching but, when it's compared to the junior staff, they don't teach much, they try to complete the syllabus. So it's good enough to study textbooks and even visit the library to gain knowledge.
