Remarks

The overall atmosphere in college is very good, encouraging, motivating and impressive learning. It offers a clear sky to good learns and provides a safe atmosphere around. One can learn fearlessly beyond limits.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course subjects are easy if anyone tries to listen in lectures properly they are not that hard, the lectures delivered provided are properly elaborated and discussed in class. For doubts, there are proper tutor lectures.

Internships Opportunities

Yes, our college does provide internship as per the norms of university students. Internship companies are selected by students only. I have my internship of two months in AGI infra ltd. I enjoyed being learning there without getting any stipend.

Placement Experience

The placements in the college are good but best for computer science engineering. The job opportunities are provided via job fairs sometimes held in college itself where students apply as per their will.

Basant fest, independent day, SECA event the largest fest of college, different trade fest like for civil department conduct ISCE, mechanical department conduct TechMec and so on the names of the fest is decided as per the department in their fests various competition are conducted

Fee Structure And Facilities

Feasible, the fee structure is different for different categories like ST, SC, and General. Along with that, some seats of fee waiver are reserved for students having good scores in 12 standard exams.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides various scholarship facilities to students like Dr. B.R Ambedkar scholarship facility and a few more. Am availing fee weaver seat in which college doesn't make me pay college tuition fee, I only require to pay extra charges

The labs, sports, extracurricular activities are very good since the labs are provided to students as per their department like for civil students labs of software, AutoCAD, survey, concrete technology, etc are provided and activities like sports meet, athletic meet are also conducted yearly.

Hostel Facilities

There are 6 hostels in the college out of which 2 are for girls and rest for boys. 4 hostel buildings are 3 storey and 2 are 2 storey. Each hostel includes playing party within, common room, hostel mess, and store.

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

Yes, the senior students are helpful and friendly. There is a supportive and friendly atmosphere in the college no ragging nothing else. Seniors help in studying stuff and all that's proves to be helpful.

Exam Structure

The exams are held semester wise, in each semester monthly tests are conducted twice at regular intervals and the final end semester exams and the answer sheets are checked and showed to students within 20 days after the exams over

Admission

I filled online counseling and got a seat here in fee weaver as per my 12 percentage merit and also in my desired BTech trade that is BTech civil. Then I visited the college interacts with college staff and deposit my fee and documents.

Faculty

The college faculty is well educated. The way of teaching is very impressive and elaborative. Faculty members are helping, motivating and encouraging in nature. If any topic is left uncleared particular students are provided with extra lectures.

The infrastructure is great with state of the art labs and equipment
The library is really nice place to study
Lots of hangout spots in and around campus

Dislikes

Less opportunities for core branches as less core companies visit campus
75 percent attendance policy for classes
Very high fees compared to other colleges

Placement Experience:

Companies start coming summer internships in the 5th and 6th semester though ,CG cuts are imposed so very less students are elgible to sit for these companies, The real placement season is 7th and 8th semester and many companies visit campus for placements. around 60 percent students got placed in the recent placement drive. The major recruiters are: Oracle, CISCO, JPMC,Deloite,IBM,ZS etc.

The Scholarship benefit is good when compared to other universities the fee is also not very huge.The Infrastructure of the campus was vast and there arelots of stall to purchase food items etc
There is a big mall through which You can get necessary items .In every hostel you will have departmental stores
The faculty was highly qualified. The Placements opportunities are also good The average was offered was 5-6 LPA.The Lpu newly Launched Education Revolution is very good for students

Dislikes

The mandatory 75% attendance policy for every subject.If you not maintain you will debar from End term examinations which is not all good
The Roads are not that much good .The roads are made of parking tiles instead of Thar
The distance between hostels and main gates are nearly 1.5 -2 km which not at all good .but there e-rickshaw they charge 15 rupees per person to drop from hostel to main gate

The course cirriculum changes every year by rapid changes happening due to AI The University has also launched a new school called School of AI and emerging technologies.from this every year syllabus changesand exams pattern changes .the difficulty of exams is increasing day by day.

There are 1 AC Lecture complex()LT with almost a seating capacity of 100-120 students, with smart screens and projector.
NITJ has well maintained 4 Girls hostel and 4-5 boys hostels with proper cleanliness and hostel staff.
They are 7 cafeterias in the Campus, including 3 Nescafe outlets,1 dominos and 3 regular canteens that serve food late night.

Dislikes

Wifi and connection issues in the hostels
Slow response to emails and late approval to applications
The ICE department faculty is quite strict. Tough grading system and administration.

Placement Experience:

NITJ has a placement cell, also known as the Centre of Training and Placements(TPO office of NITJ). The placement scenes differ depending on the courses offered. The average placements are 12-14LPA in the Computer Science branch. Every year, hundreds of companies, including Pvt and govt both. PSUs like HPCL and BPCL recruit students based on merit and academic excellence.

The environment of the college is so nice, helpful staff, AC labs for CS deptt.
Canteen and water facilities and park in both deptts

Dislikes

Distance of travelling coz for me its too much far
Nothing as of now everything was good enough

Placement Experience:

- Limited campus opportunities were available, and most students become eligible from the final year. - The average package was around 2-5 LPA. - after my degree my plan is to improve my employability my strengthening my technical skill in my domain

From 7th sem students become eligible for campus placements and tata or Infosys companies visited and about 60 to 70 percent students were placed and my plans after getting the degree is to opt for higher studies doing mtech from iit

Good infrastructure, campus and faculty. Have to improve placements and industrial visits.

Likes

The campus is very green and clean. Infrastructure is good and one can feel fresh air here in campus
The faculty is excellent, almost all of the professors and assistant professors have a degree from renowned institutes. So they know their subject and field very well.
Hostels are good and affordable. Although the hostels itself are old, services are good and you get a nice room for the price/rent

Dislikes

The crowd isn't good. Always demotivated to do anything productive regarding studies. Some people are just here for time-pass
Very less site and outdoor visits. For practical experience, they should conduct industrial visits, but that happens rarely
Placements are really Dry and there is decline in company visits for placement.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.

The sports and the various facilities that they provide for relaxing
The Library that remains open till 10-11 at night for those who wish to study till late
Great mentors and very helpful teachers who are always willing to help

The hectic schedule and curriculum that the students have to follow.
The lack of certain facilities that would help the students improve thoer personalities
Too much strictness and restrictions with everything that someone wishes to do

Course Curriculum Overview:

The interest in coding influenced me to choose this subject and course. The curriculum gets me ready for a 9-5 job which kind of gets hectic. The teachers could maybe schedule classes to give the students time to study what they want to and if they wish to do a course outside the university they have the time to do so rather than just going by the university curriculum
