Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is quite nicely made looking after the students. There are around 4-6 subjects per semester. The midterms are a bit easier compared to the end semester examination, as the course is Less.
Internships Opportunities
I had my internship at Institute of advanced research IR itself and I was under the neuroscience department. I had a great opportunity to learn so many things and there was no stipend given we had to pay like the semester fees that was around ?41,000 and the projects were really good. There were many other departments. There was also a forensic department, plant biotechnology department, and many more more.
Fees and Financial Aid
I recently completed my Bsc biotechnology (hons) degree at IAR university, graduating this year. Throughout my studies, i diligently paid the annual tuition fees of 81000 rupees and every semester fees of 41000 rupees. Additionally, there was a one timw registration fee of 1000 rupees. Unfortunately, I didnt receive any scholarships during my time at the university. It is also important to note that the fees were subjected to an annual increase.
Campus Life
There is the freshers party, which is organized in the early September and there is also the farewell party, which is mostly organized in the end of the end of the acadamic year like in March. Also, there is the Navarathri celebration, which comes around the time of Navarathri, and there are also some group days which mostly happened in February. There are also some clubs that you can join like the gaming club the arts and craft club, the music club, etc..
Admission
I also applied to parul university. And also got the admission there. But due to there inability to give me a hostel i passed on it. There was no as suxh hard admission process at iar university. No exams arw taken, you get merit based admission and first come bases admission
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is quite good. We were assigned a mentor per 4 students in our batch. Dr anand tiwari was our mentor and it was great discussing our problems with him he was alao very supportive. There are mainly 2 exams per semester The midterm and The end semester examination. You must study to pass.
