Unveiling EILLM Kolkata: A comprehensive insight into the Curriculum, Campus life, and Career prospects

The curriculum of EIILM Kolkata is comprehensive and up-to-date with global corporate trends. It integrates business theories and practical applications, focusing on analytical and conceptual development. But I think the curriculum could add more interactive sessions with the students rather than one way communication, this would help the students to connect with the subjects more effectively. Overall, I would say it is good and well-structured curriculum and is relevant for career preparations.

Students are usually placed in good Companies like Bata, Times of India, Trends, V Mart. most of the internships offered are non paid internships but the experience really adds value to the whole curriculum. The paid interships stipend usually varies around 2000 to 6000 per month.

From 5th Semester the students are eligible for campus placement if the want to. Companies like HDFC, ICICI visit campus for placemnt offers. The number of offers made is not known to me. Usually more than 90% of the MBA batch are placed succesfully in a well reputed Company with and average package of 4 lacs. Per annum. And for BBA very few students opt for placement.

If the student is having more than 70% marks in 10th and 12th they will get a scholarship of Rs. 30,000 from the college which is deducted from the Course fees. The Total Course fee is Rs. 3,00,000 i.e. Rs. 50,000 per Semester. But in case of Scholarship the total fees would be Rs. 2,70,000 i.e. 45,000 per semester. The fees breakup is as follow:- Registration fees - 30,000 Before 1st semester - 20,000 Before 2nd Semester - 50,0000 Before 3rd Semester - 50,000 Before 4th Semester - 50,000 Before 5th Semester - 50,000 Before 6th Semester - 50,000

The overall campus life was good. EIILM Kolkata usually holds many occassions during the year like Saraswati Puja, Freshers Party which is usually held in April, And the Farewell party which usually happens in June. There are multiple Seminars which are held during a year some of which are even out of state in places like Mumbai, Jaipur. The range of books and Journal availabale in all the Campus is very vast, but the books referred by the faculties are hard to find but still many relevant books are available. They also have an E-Library facilty. The classes are air conditioned with projectors and speakers which are spread all over the classroom. Sports are usually help once a year which are intra and inter college tournaments.

I choose EIILM Kolkata over other colleges because I personally found it easy to get into this college with tha marks that I have received in my 10th and 12th, and also the fees was affordable. I applied for many colleges like Xavier's, Jaipuria, etc. which are definitely a better option but my end goal was to do MBA and I found that BBA is more inclined towards the business and corporate world which will help me in MBA Course.

In BBA there will be 4 Subjects per semester. In each semester there will be 4 internal exams known as C.A. and 1 Semester for each of the subjects. During the 4th Semester students will have an opportunity to get an internship which can be paid or unpaid, This internship's work expererience certificate is very crucial to get the degree. During the internship I have received many helps from my teachers who guided me during the interview process and also during my intership.
