Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

The course curriculum in our college design to be both relevant and comprehensive. Its a little difficult course because you have to study simultaneously Though There is room for improvement in course to make it a little easier

Internships Opportunities

4.5

The intership is given in KMC Hospital. Kmc hospitals is in a wide range in india. we can get placed in banglore, Chennai Mangalore etc. We do an internship in as perfusion technologists Every course in our college is offered internship projects and outcomes: we assist in cardiopulmonary bypass machine - assembling the circuit, priming it, verifying the pump etc

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The yearly fees is 1,82,000 and the total course fees is 5,46,000 but i also paid 10,000 at first as a deposit making the fees 5,56,000. The registration fee was around 2000 They do accept scholarships from government but the scholarship in college is based in merit though from manipal enterance exams. One of my classmate is paying only 50,000 per year as he got seat through scenes from his 12th college I am not sure but i guess its the same fees structure for every for every catergory But for nri it's maybe double the fees my course fees were a little less 2 years back not sure how much exactly and it wasn't increased this year. I feel the education they are providing and the exposure they are giving is great. also, we have OT postings in hospitals from 2nd year onwards

Campus Life

5

We have many different events in our college, we have 1. pulse held in October its based on cultural like painting, dancing 2. Nexus is related to sports and happens 3. daan utsav is something we collect and give to charity and help them which also happens in october 4. Parralon its also a cultural event - november 5. Utsav is inter college competition in March. almost all sports are encouraged in our college and give full support. we too have clubs in our college- fashion club, dance club, singing club, nature club I was a makeup head last year in the fashion club. our library is a 6-floor tall building having all books for studies, journaling etc extracurricular activities are supported fully

Admission

My first choice was MCHP as it ticked all my needs amd requirements for a successful future. i didn't apply for other colleges. firstly I registered through the college website and later after couple weeks I was called for an enterance exam, this exam was the same for all health professional students. A student must score 60% in his/her 12th. in my course, the seat are 15 seats available so its based on higher rankers in the enterance exam who opted in perfusion.

Faculty

3.5

my course has 4 faculty and the class strength is 15, our every faculty is approachable. Glory maam, i really like her alot, she understands a student so well and help them if they are facing any issues and so helpful she is. there isnt such faculty i dont liek we have 3 exams in each semester 1. 1st sessional 2. 2nd sessional 3. end sem in my course we have 2 non department exam which i feel is a bit not needed for course like microbiology

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course because occupational therapy is improving ones quality of life.I chose this so that I can help people that struggle with their everyday living after an injury.our curriculum provides all the practical skills that can be applied in real life settings.we have patients at our own hospitals and we have postings at different departments.we also have PMR that is physical medicine and rehabilitation that is especially useful for occupational therapists. After the 1st 2 months of our sem we have our 1st internals exam, theory and practical, then again after 2 months we have 2 nd internals, that is also theory and practical. And after 2 months we have our semester exams. As a medical student who is studying occupational therapy exams are difficult ,we have so much to study and we give more importance on practicals.
