Honest College review

The curriculum was good , it prepares us good or infact really goos for the real world applications , we had few subjects like critical thinking , project management , corporate governance and all which gave us real life things . overall the subjects helped us to develop ourself mentally. i think theres no need of imprpvement in teaching methods , they are good , they are very very engaing , they teach through ppts , give us practical assignments and all. we have two exams , one is midsems and end sems exams , and the exams are also not very difficult.

Being a Uttrakhand resident i got 33% domicile discount , per semester(6 months) i paid around 50000 rs (approx), so per year i paid around 100000 rs this included tution fees , medical fees , an accident insurance upto 1 lakh , the admission fees included 25000 for security , in which 5000 is not refundable and we"ll get 20000 rs after completing the degree , 500 rs for id card is charged in the first year fees itself. they provided girl child scholarship too .

There are many fests like urja , nd few more , we have dholida too , then diwali dj night , there are wide numbers of books and a vairety of books in library , plhs the library is very good , there are id cards punching for attendance , various extracurricular activities are provided , we can participate in cricket football etc , we can rome around in Mac , play tt and snooker wr have various clubs too like nss , agaz Nd all.

i applied in IMS UNISON , which is in dehradun only , i got confirmation too , but i didnt liked the college it had proper school things , and plus had the dress too. it was far away from my home as compared to upes. Admission process in Upes was 70% min marks in 12 th class, we have to give interview before selection , and sometimes entrance test in few cases , they even take cuet but i dont know the criteria for that. Overall admission process is okayishhh.

the faculty were different for different batches in the same courses , faculties are very helpful and approachable the student and faculty relations are very good in the college. I liked Preeti ma'am and Deepak sir in my entire college life , they were very good , had clear concepts , had engaing classes. They used to teach through engaing ppts and had various practical exercises. In each semester we had one midsems exams and final exams , we had approx 5-6 subjects in each semester and 2 exploratory exams , exploratory subjects were interesting. the exams were always okayish that means not so hard not so easy. out of 60 students i can say 15-20 students couldnt clear the exams , and the cpurse curriculum is very relevant , the faculties stick to that .
