About SRM University

The frequency of exam can be changed as in most colleges they have mid semsester exam and then sem exams for us they have they three exams before final semester exams which are called the cycle test, so basically three cycle test exams before the final exams, then addition to that we have lab exam of they subjects which have both theory and lab course for example data structures operating systems. The course can be improved by having more interactive sessions in class rather than just ppt based teaching.

SRM offeres a four weel summer internship program that provides hands-on experience in a molecular and genomic laboratory. Interns gain technical skills and cofidence to work in the field. Industrial exposure trainting is also provided in the thrird and fourth semester to help studednts evolp personality traits that insustry looks for

SRM university has a strong placement record supported by a dedeicated career development centre (CDC). The highest package was of 52 LPA in 2024 with the average around 8.7 LPA . Top companies came for placement like amazon, accenture and tata consultancies

I am in CSE course with specialization Data science. The complete fee for the course is 4 lakh. excluding the registration fee. Registration fee- 10 thousand tuition fee- 4 lakh no lab fee exam fee per sem is 3000 approx accordingly to number of your subjects per subject is mostly 375 The tuition fee is increased 25000 every year for the new batch admission students for each course.

We have total of 2 Main fest of the Campus AARUUSH and MILAN. Aaruush is national level tech fest oraganised by the student body in the srm held in the odd sem and MILAN is a fest also organised by student body held in the even sem. All kind of study related subjects books are offered in the library. Each classroom is equipped with smart board and a balck board for teachers to explain. SRM offers a variety of soprts related fest aswell , we have dedicated teams for each sport event, such as Basketball, football, softball, badminton many more. They many number of social group run by students and tech groups to join DSA club taken comtrol of that msotly

We have different set of hostel in girls , M block is the most expensive it is a two sharing hostel with AC and non ac rooms , IT has proer mirrors and wooden bed table side table and attached washroom and all year students live here. Kalpana Chawla, Meenaskshi Hostel are only available for first years

I applied for other colleges but mostly in them couldn't get a good brank it was because of my lack of preparation, I applied in SRM University and choso this over the other i applied for as I got my desired branch from here which i was anot able to achieve in other colleges i applied for . I took exam in other colleges aswell but couldnt meet the cuttoff requirement for the computer science branch I always wanted computer science . The eligibility for this college is above 60% in 12th board Exams and having subject physics maths for btech

Not every faculty is good each department have a few teacher with problem, but the faculty i found who msot students can understand from are the Mathematics faculty teacher also the Data structures faculty they are the most unliked faculty as they teach in a rush always and finish course last min before exams. The exams are not very difficult if studies well but there is always a few count of student who are not able to clear the exam.
