Course Curriculum Overview
As the aviation industry is growing very fast so there is large amount of opportunities for the aircraft maintenance engineers in the future. There are plenty of job vacancies with high paying jobs in multiple airlines and organisations.
Placement Experience
The courses of 2 years so in the 4th semester the campus placements are started and company such as Indigo visit the college and almost 80 to 90% of students are placed with high package. And it depends on the students that how many DGCA models he have cleared.
Fees and Financial Aid
In total for 2 years it will cost you around 8lakh rupees including everything and it's worth it.There are chances you might get an scholarship or financial aids on applying on the link they provide.First you'll have to pay 50k for confirmation of the seat for you and then you can pay it semester wise.
Campus Life
Basically there are no annual and technical festival there in the college. There are and number of books available in the library more than you could have imagine. Each classroom have smart board. There are lefts like virtual reality lab and we AR lab.
Admission
I applied in Bombay flying club but I got to know that the Thakur institute of aviation technology is much more better than any other colleges in Mumbai. For getting the admission in Thakur College the eligibility is you have to score more than 50% in your 12th board exam with PCM as your subject.
Faculty
Faculty is very cooperative with the students and their very happy to teach their students. Many instructors are retired defence person and have very great knowledge about the course. There are weekly test on every Monday for each module and semester exams in the end of the sem. Only MCQ based exams are there.
