Course Curriculum Overview

Course Curriculum is based on real world technology. They make students to be aware of the real world and teach everything. Our college also conducts hackathons, ideathons and many more activities and clubs based on technology. NCC , NSS are also there in our college to make a student disciplined and dignified person.

Internships Opportunities

There are many companies which also offer internships to our college. Internshala is one of them. Students also make many projects which are so impressive to HR's. I still did not try for any internship because I am still studying 1st year. All this information I inquired from my seniors.

Placement Experience

From 3rd to 4th year Students are eligible for the placements in our college. Our college is tied up with many companies. Many companies visit our college during placements. Companies like Infosys, Fact Set, Hyundai, Accenture, Genpact, Tata, Tech Mahindra and many more...The average package is 10 LPA and the highest package is 18-20 LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm from CSE(AI&ML) branch. Yearly fee for my branch is 105000. I got full fee reimbursement. I have to pay exams fee, lab fee and others...which are affordable. And bus fee depends on the area you come from. It may be 20,000 to 25,000.

Campus Life

Library consists of many types of books. It has a calm environment which helps students to read and understand everything peacefully. Sports are also held at our college. Extracurricular activities like singing clubs, dancing clubs etc are also there. Hackathons and ideathons are also held. Overall student life is all fulfilled here. It as I expected.

Admission

I chose this college because I already heard much about it, like...our college providers many facilities to students. It also send students abroad for their graduation from college itself. And there are many teachers to guide students for their international exams.

Faculty

Faculty is so good. They are free with students as well as they are also very strict, coming to studies. There are two semesters per year and two mids per semister. One semester is conducted evey 5-6 months. And mid is conducted after complition of 2 or 3 units.

Decent college with good facilities

Placement Experience:

From 4th year 1st semester, the students become eligible for campus placements. About 10-15 companies visited our college with minimum 3 lpa. And only 30% of students are placed in the campus placement. Companies like virtuza, movate, cognizant, hcl visited our campus for placement. The highest package was 4.5 lpa and lowest was 2.8 . My plans after getting degree is work in a reputed mnc.

Placement Experience:

Generally, students from 3rd year second semester are eligible for the placements. some, who are interns at a company earns the place to proceed for the rest of life. some others should try harder because they didnt get the internship. It is important to get internship. Companies do visit vasavi such as visa, silicon labs, cisco and more to pick interns or to pick engineers. percentage around 60-70 gets placed every year. Actually placements decreased after the recession.

Vaagdevi College is Versatile!!

State Entrance score is mandatory as 60% in 12th for general students is enough to qualify. However, rankers between 2000-4000 get to study here as our college seats get filled quite fast due to its affordability.
