Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Honestly I took up this course or a degree as a back up, I was interested in Aviation field to become a pilot but since the fee structure was high I couldn't make it so one of my friends suggested me to do a back up course and then do a pilot course but I have no idea if I'm gonna take up aviation course in future since the fee structure is too high and the plan B is to become a Data Analyst and researching about the colleges to choose for masters and competitive exams to write in future, and I'm a average student not that great in studies but I have friends who teach me to understand the problems and make me solve them .

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm Doing course in Statistics and Computer Science and Im currently in 3rd Year my Fee structure is 32,300 earlier it was 30,800 including the tuition fee. They do provide Scholorships and Placements

Campus Life

1.5

2 years of my college I was literally alone and sad I never took part in any events except for 2 and I never attended fests since I had no one to enjoy with in my. 3rd sem I made friends with 4-5 people they were sweet and that's one good thing about the college

Admission

Since I Did my Pu in This college and had a great experience I thought choosing a degree here could be fun but sadly I broke my friendship with my childhood friend and I hated everything about this college since I was alone and had no friends. I choose this course because the plan b was to become a data analyst and hopefully succeed, Admission process was we had 2 interview rounds and then pay the fees. B

Faculty

Honestly in 1st year of my degree the Lecturers were very sweet, friendly but 2nd year we got some strict lecturers who always hated my combination students and demotivated us but they were good at teaching and had good teaching experience

Placement Experience:

At St Aloysius University, students typically become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester onward. Reputed companies like Infosys, wipro, TCS etc have visited the campus offering multiple roles in IT services, research and analytics. The highest package has been around 7-8 LPA while the average has been around 3-4 LPA depending on the company and the profile of the student. Around 60-70% of eligible students secure placement each year

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate it around 8/10 for relevance and comprehensiveness. I chose this course because it offered solid foundational subjects that aligned with my interests. The curriculum prepares students well for higher studies and provides decent exposure to lab techniques. However, for real world readiness, it could be improved. Teaching methods are mostly theory-heavy and would benefit from interactive approaches. Exams are moderately difficult and conceptual clarity and regular revision helps in scoring well.

Placement Experience:

First of all, there isn't a passed out batch yet(as of 2025). The first batch enrolled in 2023 and they are currently in internship period as they've planned. Placement will be offered at the end of 4th year. Although for internships, around 50+ companies visited and 96% of students got internships. The average stipend was 30,000 INR and the highest stipend was 200,000 INR (non-domestic). My plans after getting the degree are to gain some experience and go for a masters in business if possible.

Remarks:

Positive remarks: • The senior, junior, classmates are very helpful and cooperative. • The professors are also very helpful and concerned about our studies. Negative remarks: The authority is not so helpful. They take many steps against the students' sake and this is the main cause for decreasing the college's overall performance.
