Course Curriculum Overview

4

Bachelor of medicine and bachelor of surgery (mbbs) is a very vast course which includes almost 19 subject . The aspect of curriculum which inspired me the most is its real life application. Through this course you become a doctor who saves the lives of the people and considered as God in the society. There are not much to improve because this course is already optimised but there should be more focus on mental health of students in this course . There are lots of suicide cases in this course which is sad part and should be removed . Exams :- There are part completion test after every unit is completed . There are 2 semester exams in first and 2 nd year and pre university and University exams every year . Difficulty of exams is between easy to medium

Internships Opportunities

4

There is one year internship held after completion of this course . Almost 18-20 thousand rupees is paid as stipend every month during internship. After internship there are many options available for you such as medical officer or you could go for post graduation courses.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of all mbbs colleges in rajasthan in almost same with few difference Total fees of first year mbbs is 119300 rupees without any reservation benefits , but if we use reservation benefits first if around 52300 for first year . This fees includes :- Caution money (refundable) -8300 one time Admission fees:-19500 one time Development fees:-8300 per annum First year tution fee:-67000 per annum Other :- 16200 There is no tution fee for girls and boys from OBC , sc , st category There are several scholarships also available in for students which almost gives around 20000 per annum There are also scholarship for students whose parents are working in army related services or specially abled students

Campus Life

3.5

The campus life is pretty good in this college which includes many fests and cultural events which are held at regular time intervals . Sports meets are also organised every month . The main fest of this college is called as 'WAVE' which is held around month of July . This fest is five days long and contains many cultural, social and sports facilities. There are many clubs in this college . Literature club (lit club) is one of the most renowned club of college. Many sports clubs are also present of which I have joined football club.

Admission

I chose this because this is one of the most renowned college in all india for mbbs course . I also applied for AIIMS Guwahati also and I also alloted that college but due to the legacy of sardar Patel medical College I chosen this college. Proximity to this college is also one of the major reason for choosing this college. Neet UG is the exam you have to ho through to get into this college. You need to have an all india rank below 5000 to get into this college . Addmission is taken through the councelling process handled by mcc . State councelling also takes place through which 80% of seats are allotted.

Faculty

5

Every department in college contains almost 10-15 faculties and there are three departments in first year mbbs . So according to this data the student faculty ratio is almost 5:1 which is pretty good. Teachers are very cooperative and easily approachable which helps the students lot. I liked almost all the faculties in the college but I liked Dr. BK binawara sir the most in physiology department because of their teaching method . In anatomy I liked Dr. Geeta mam and Dr garima khatri mam the most. Dr KR Meena sir is also one of my favourite teacher. There are total four exams in first and second mbbs each year which has medium difficulty. These exams are held in theory format and practical exams along with these theory papers . Almost all students clear these exams easily failure rate is quite low.

Placement Experience:

We became eligible for placement after internship. Till internship,we don't have any choice to work anywhere else unless your family own a hospital. After internship,we can join a hospital as mbbs doctor or we can opt for examination like NEET pg or UPSC CMS or M.O. Highest package is 1-2 lakhs per month Lowest package is 50000 per month Percentage of students getting placement -80% My plan is to qualify neet pg and get a high ranked course .
