Course Curriculum Overview

5

Curriculum is same for mbbs all through out the country as well as globally. With total of 19 subjects. It gives as general understanding of medicine and helps us in clearing exams like neet pg and usmle etc. So we can do our pg in specific subject

Internships Opportunities

4

After completion of 4th year there is a paid necessary internship in 5th year which pays a fixed stipend. After this paid we can get our mbbs degree for practice and further studies. Internship is done in PBM .

Fees and Financial Aid

Its a government median college so is very affordable. Tuition Fees is less for students of sc,st,obc, ews categories and girls of general category which is 25000/- Rs per year For general category boys it is more which is still very affordable.

Campus Life

3

Campus life as such is not very lit. We have freshers and an annual fest called Wave which runs for 5-6 days with various cultural, literature and sports events. Also there are various leagues throughout the year for different sports like cricket, basketball, volleyball and kabaddi.

Admission

I cleared neet with good rank to get this college which has a high cut off . My 1st choice was obviously AIIMS Delhi after not getting it the next choice was SPMC and I got in. I chose this college as it is an old government college running from 1958 and is close to my home.

Faculty

3

Overall faculties take regular classes in college for 1 and 2nd year however some are understandable rest are not. Mostly we have to focus on self study amd med apps also books and yt channels just like any college. For 1st and 2nd year there are 2 terms and 1 puc and 1 uc For 3rd and 4th year 1 term , 1 puc and 1 uc.

Night Life

4

There is small canteen on campus and hostel canteen is available. There are several restaurants and cafes around the college. There is a library and various reading rooms which are massive. There is no gym. There are large gardens and courts.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the MBBS course curriculum as highly relevant and comprehensive. It covers essential subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and pathology in great detail. The curriculum also addresses a variety of specialties, providing a broad understanding of different areas of medicine. Overall, the course prepares students for the challenges of modern medical practices. The exams are conducted on the yearly basis which are conducted by university. Although internal exams are also conducted by the college which also helps in testing are knowledge and level of preparation.
