Course Curriculum Overview

4

The curriculum like i said is decided by NMC and the exams are set by RUHS so it is pretty much the same for every govt medical college The difficulty is medium honestly if u study regularly We have daily practical classes in the lab and practical exams are a very important part in the finals

Internships Opportunities

5

Compulsory internship takes place after ur final year for 1year Stipend at the moment id around 20-21k per month Students are required to report at the allotted departments every day and rotations constantly happen so by the end of it, all departments will be covered by each student

Fees and Financial Aid

I am a student studying through NRI Quota and my entire course fees is around 1.15cr Year wise fees is nearly 25lakhs approximately, it fluctuates according to the US dollar My batchmates have a significantly lower fees- genral category students have around 50000 per annum fees as far as i know and SC/ST students have around 25k per annum Obviously I didn't have the required score for neet to get a general seat that is why I opted for this route It is a huge commitment from the entire family to go this way but if u can easily then i think you should go for it And if u think u have the time and most importantly mental capacity to go through neet then obviously there is no better option than coming through the normal route JLN has a pretty calm environment as compared to what i have heard about the other govt medical colleges in Rajasthan, I would completely recommend especially if u like smaller and quieter cities but with complete connectivity

Campus Life

3

We have an annual cultural fest Annual cricket tournament Annual sports fest Along with all these we have a few one night events scattered throughout the year like farewell/freshers parties, dandiya night, etc also organised by the college There aren't much clubs that are active throughout the year cus of our busy study schedules but during our cultural fest we have practically everything

Admission

Due to neet, I didn't really have much control on the college selection but i did look into private medical colleges initially but there is no comparison in the work experience and exposure to government colleges and hospitals

Faculty

5

The faculty is very laid back in comparison to other govt medical colleges The ratio...well its hard to say but nearly each department has around 30members at least i will say and all are extremely approachable Dr Poonam Harshwardhan Maam (also academic incharge) from physiology department is one of the favourite faculty members in the whole stff and loved by all batches and she will go above and beyond to help students in academic and personal issues alike No faculty that i dont like much per say We have 2 semesters and one PUC then UC(final) Around 20-30students roughly fail out of 250 per year The curriculum is the same throughout india and so is the teaching pretty much

Night Life

3

We have a study library, a girls and boys gym and both are practically available throughout the day Hostel timings are very flexible and so is campus timings Other than cafes and such places around the college not much specific places are there sice a hospital is also functional in the same campus so decorum has to be maintained at all times

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the MBBS course curriculum as highly relevant and comprehensive. It covers essential subjects such as anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and pathology in great detail. The curriculum also addresses a variety of specialties, providing a broad understanding of different areas of medicine. Overall, the course prepares students for the challenges of modern medical practices. The exams are conducted on the yearly basis which are conducted by university. Although internal exams are also conducted by the college which also helps in testing are knowledge and level of preparation.
