Things that I liked is teachers encourage students to do multi curriculuar activities to enhance their knowledge
Teachers are friendly towards the students

They raised the fees structure which increased in 10000
Have less time for other activities apart from academics
Have strict environment like school and sometimes it's feel like we are in school

Course Curriculum Overview

I have chosen this course because now a days technology is improving rapidly and developing more and more in these in which I chose the b.tech information technology couse to study about the technologies and comprehend them in way of uses.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 86000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college gives intership opportunities to students who are interested and can get stipend with or without based on their knowledge in progress and performance in the interview and they can also get opportunities by having high grade CGPA in their academic scores

Placement Experience

In past years the placements are best in my college but these days it is very scares that many of the company is not recruiting and demand high programming skills even in freshers.but in the recursion period it is very difficult get placed in campus placement

Fees and Financial Aid

Velammal institute of technology The fees structure is differs from various courses and various of choosing like counciling and management Where counciling the fees structure is 87000 without first graduate certificate and with first graduate certificate the fees structure is 58000 different courses have different fees structure I choosed information technology in b.tech and hostel fee is 103000

Campus Life

My college provides many placements oppertunities for students and conducts Industrial visits.the college also provides internship opportunities to those students who have high grade in the curriculum scoring.

Hostel Facilities

In hostel the facilities are ok and the basic necessities are provided water,rooms and food. The food is not that extravagant but is ok ,and the food is unlimited,having power backup upon shutdown in power supply and wifi facilities

Hostel Fee: INR 103000 per year

Admission

I chose this college via the tamilnadu educational counciling system which I applied for many colleges in other places like panimalar college and so .but I got this college in the counciling process .then I hoped to get srm college for my education

Faculty

The faculty are friendly in manner towards the students and give advice to all to improve in all round expertise and they recommend students to actively participate in symposium and hackathon related events.

College with good environment, teaching and placements

Placement Experience:

On doing 6th semester companys are coming for placements. But most of the companys come in the 7th semester. There is a lot of companies come here like Embedur, Honeywell,Caterpillar,Zoho,Tcs, Accenture,Hcl,Ltimindtree,Cts,etc.. Around 75-85 percentage of students got offer. The Highest package is 20lpa amd lowest is 3.36lpa. I have to go to IT company for work.

About My University

Course Curriculum Overview:

I influenced by my friends who joined in this course ,later on I adjusted with it ,the curriculum prepares students in which they are capable to understand in their own way with which they build up projects and expos and many more events conducted by the other collages to participate in it. It is a tough situation to deal with it because the minimal gap between the sessionals is 1.5 month so for students it a stress to cover the syllabus of all subjects and with project works etc.

The artificial intelligence I choose this course it is a growing course and job are high paid jobs. I prepared for real world purpose to get good knowledge on that. The teaching is overall good and the improvement of our course curriculum to decrease the exams .yes I felt very low because the exams are come over 1 on 1 timing is very low and it is difficult so we suggest to reduce the exam timings.

I want to become a software Developer. So I choose the Computer Science and Engineering course. In this college, there are many number of placements provided. So I choose this course and college. The admission process of this college was simple. There will be some free seats, General seats, reservation quota seats and Management quota seats. If the student wrote any competitive examinations such as JEE mains and any other competitive examinations. If he got the good rank then college will provide a free seat for that student if he apply in the counselling time. Otherwise student has to buy the college seat through the donation. Eligibility for this course is, you should have cut-off 140 or above and based on caste it differs.
