The diversity of Banasthali Vidyapith

The main reason I chose this college and this specific course was for the practical knowledge I needed There is lab everyday for atleast 2 hours There is no such day when there is no lab Here practical knowledge is more important than theoretical knowledge. It does prepare you for the real world applications You get to handle the instruments individually The curriculum is very diverse with two additional courses (foundation course) each semester Such as general English, Mahabharata, General Hindi and Science of happiness and other subjects too. There can be improvement in the lab area There can be better and cleanser tools There is exam almost every month, there are tests and exams the first semester exams takes place as follows The first periodical will appear in September first weak and the next periodical in October and the semester exams will take place in December last weak

There are a lot of internship opportunities present for students The teacher even refers some institutions for for summer and winter internship You get credit points if you complete your internship successfully You have to get a reference letter from your HOD in order to take part in internship You are provided with project according to your course and subjects You have to prepare the complete report which gives conclusion of what you took part in the internship time

I guess last semester and second last is the time when placements take place Google Microsoft Intel Airtel Jio They make great offers for students The highest is 15 lacs per annum And average package is 5 to 6 lacs Almost 67 percent of students get placed I plan on persuing my masters either from here at banasthali only But I hope to get my masters degree from abroad

The semester wise fees is approximately 89000 In broad spectrum it is as follows: *Educational fees (tuition fees)-89000 Other fee-4000 Development fees- 21000 Hostel fees-60000 (Mess charges -21500 Electricity fees-7500 Room rent-10000 Campus fees-21000) Total for one year concludes to 174000 As it is a women's University There is scholarship for single girl child If the child is a orphan Other scholarships are also available

A lot of fests take place and different events and seminars take place almost every month . The main annual event here is Apaji Which is a whole lot of celebration which takes place in November for three days consecutively. Almost every book can be found here. Every department has its own library Which contains all the books regarding that course and everything and then there is a combined central library which is available for all the students, college and school both There is panchmukhi siksha here which focuses on five entities of college life There are a lot of activities courses to be a part of A large number of games and music courses are present Swimming gymnastics twaekwando is there

There are separate hostels for every course. There are large number of hostels in this university Each hostel contains almost 300-500 students Separate beds are present in the room. With common bathrooms and washrooms at each end of the corridor The hostel has theee floors mostly The meal here is only vegetarian and not even eggs are present in the meal The menu is very diverse and changes as the season changes The registration process for hostels take place at the addmission time only They allot the hostels based on the year and course There is no pg facility present here If you study here you have to live in hostels

It is a complete university Almost every course is available here There are several different departments here for the different courses Things are not crowded here There is no crowd of students in a class The class are well seated

There is great amount of faculties in every department, there is no shortage of teachers Every teacher has atleast a PhD in there subject, which they are teaching They are very approachable and very humble. I liked Mr. Girish Pandey Sir who teaches me biostatistics, I found him very helpful with my referral letter for my internship opportunities and also for class queries and everything. There is not a specific teacher that I didn't liked, they are all humble and different human beings. There are two periodical tests and semester test (talking about a single semester) The tests are of 10 marks They are not that hard Most of the students pass the test The one who have below 75percent of attendance are not allowed to attend the exams They have to appear next year with the juniors for their exams The amount to attend the exam the next year for a single subject is 1200 ( you have to buy the form then fill it then Submit it) It's a long process
