My family members beleived that there is a very strong and unshakeable future in the software field and somehow one can earn money if they've got an IT job... money was my only ultimate thing in choosing this course... This course develops both the technical and non-technical knowledge in students...one will be able to know the insights about software development and programming languages .. It would be nice if more practical learning is included rather than theory classes.. semester exams are 5 months once, interal exams are 2 months once

The students are getting trained for placements from the very first semester and they are split into batches based on their marks in an assessment... students with above average marks are trained for getting their placements in high package product based companies...name of some famous companies that visit our college are Amazon ,Zoho, turing , Infosys ,Wipro ,Bosch, tcs ,CTS ,cap Gemini... mostly all of the students are placed other than those who opt for higher studies...I'm planning to do Ms in computer science after getting my degree

I'm a management quota student. So the yearly fee for me is normally higher than the government quota students... Yearly fee for management quota is Rs.148000 and yearly fee for merit students is Rs.95000...the first graduate students have some concession in their fees and students who have completed their higher education in government Tamil medium schools have concessions... students with cut-off mark above 180 has a significant reduction in fee and students with very high cut-off mark are offered free education... students are given concession in their hostel fees too if they are merit, if day scholar the bus fees is also reduced

The campus life is very peaceful and friendly as there are seperate campus for every departments and the senior junior relationship is very good and they are very good in guiding the juniors... A library with an area of more than 5000 sqft with access to internet if available for students from 9am to 9pm.. months magazines and journals are available for students... projector facility is available in each and every class rooms..every classroom is a smart class room... Students those who are interested in sports can attend coaching after college timings in the evening and early morning...there are 16 active student centric clubs which gives opportunities for students to grow in their interested fields

The placement opportunities in this college is very good when compared to other colleges in this same time...they have reputation in getting their students placed with 100 percentage placement rate...i didn't try to get into other colleges as my marks were very low and i joined this college as my brother studied this same course in this same college... The admission process will be taking place in Karpagam academy of higher education and seats will be confirmed on providing the necessary documents and money...the admission process was very smooth... students with a above average marks mostly prefer this college as they provide free education

For about 700 students there are nearly 30 staffs in my computer science department... The faculty to student relationship is very good as they are always approachable and supportive..my favourite faculties are Rajapriya mam, charumathi mam, Aarthi mam, and my tutor mariyammal mam... I like them very much as they are always friendly and approch problems in a cool way... The faculties I hate are mostly from other departments as they are not as friendly as our department faculties.. zero tolerance towards any faculties who are not behaving properly with students... They are four interal exams,4 unit tests and 2 semester exams per year and an average of 5 or 6 subjects per semester... Normally 15 to 20 students fail in every semester... The courses are very relevant to the programme and other essential courses are added
