Course Curriculum Overview

5

In dbit they make sure to conduct a test every 15 days so that the students are updated wid the curriculum and the syllabus..it creates a very good opportunity to work on ourselves while attending those tests and know our strengths and know the things that need to be worked on... practical labs r very beneficial..I feel they should involve more practical based learning than thoritcal lectures

Internships Opportunities

4

I at the moment don't have ideas about companies but our college always gets bigger companies to college and they have this really good intership program which helps the students to earn while they r still learning...so for any student who has worked hard for 4 years i feel he will really be placed in a good company and will have a decent package

Placement Experience

3

Well the placements..it depends upon the students and it's because they r students in my college who got placed for 10 lakhs per annum to students who got placed for more than 30 lakh... recently a student from dbit got placed for 54lakhs per annum so I feel it has good placement rates...my plan is to not directly jump into jobs but to do MBA and later do mtech and fetch a job for myself

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee in Don Bosco compared to all the other colleges is less.. because I have joined debit thru management quota and for me the fee per annum is 3 lakhs inr... which sum upto 12 lakhs inr for 4 years excluding the exam fees and the other expenses like travelling and food and even for projects, assignments...the exam fees is separate which might cost approx 2k for every sem exam we have to pay fees which won't be paid by the college the tution fee for 4 years is 12 lakhs inr..for admission if ur joining thru management quota then u have to pay 1lakh inr which will be refunded after the payment of first year's fee..this is because to hold the seat in the initial stage.. only for management quota.

Campus Life

3.5

Campus is too good...it's filled wid greenery and positive Ness ..it often makes me feel relaxed even after a boring lecture which took hours ...the sports is really good in dbit ..they r many groups as cultural and other which helps a person to develop skills and expose themselves for the coming future

Admission

I got into dbit because it was good and was nearby to where I stay and I actually wanted to get into rvce or bmsit but unfortunately couldn't make it due to low rank in cet i got into Don Bosco thru management and the admission procedure was to pay 1 lakh inr to hold the seat which would be refunded after the payment of 1st year's fee

Faculty

5

The faculty is really good and the teachers are really friendly...they treat students like friends and when comes to teaching they make sure everyone understands it ..the ece faculties r very good and the reason is they take care of literally everything in the ec branch .. there will be one main exam in each sem which r also called internals and every year has 2 sems which sums up to 4 years and 8 sems

The placement in colleges was good but the salary for the core job work was very less, maxing at 23000 at max, but the pay for other job roles was much higher, so getting a job from college was not difficult

Placement is good, every student who tries to get placement will surely be placed in campus placements, but off campus would be difficult as this cllg is a tier-3 cllg, so many companies reject in resume shortlisting. Maximum every CSE student will get placed but max of them would get placed at an offer of 3.5 or 4.5lpa

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say academic wise. There is nothing much happening right now in first year, but then there are many events like hackathons happening where and we can participate and learn a lot even our first year and we have English film and Japanese film, which is basically a whole language club and there are a lot of activities happening such as debate and all, which is obviously helping us gain a lot of public speaking skills and confidence.
