Course Curriculum Overview

4

I'd rate the course curriculum as pretty relevant, though there’s room for improvement. I chose this program because of its balance between theory and hands-on projects, especially the real-world applications we get in labs and internships. The variety of electives was also a big plus for me, allowing me to focus on areas like data science that are in high demand. In terms of preparing us for the real world, I think the curriculum does a decent job. The projects and internships give practical experience, which is really useful when it comes to job readiness. But some of the more theoretical courses feel a bit disconnected from actual industry needs—there could definitely be more focus on current trends like AI or renewable energy.

Fees and Financial Aid

I pay like 50,000 year wise . tution fees 50,000 lab fees 800 they don't increase the tution fees but course wise it may change. You can get first graduation certificate and reduce your fees into 25,000 and if you are sc category you only need to pay exam fees

Campus Life

5

My overall experience with campus life has been a mix of fun, learning, and personal growth. The social scene is lively, and there’s always something happening on campus, whether it’s festivals, club meetings, or sports events. Festivals: Our college hosts two major events every year. The annual cultural festival, called "Euphoria", is held in February. It’s a massive celebration with music, dance, and drama competitions, and it brings in students

Admission

I applied to a few colleges, including vels University and Anand Institute, and got accepted to both. However, I chose my current college because of several key factors: its strong industry connections, a better balance between theory and practical learning, and smaller class sizes. I was also impressed with the campus facilities and the internship opportunities they offer, which seemed more tailored to my interests in engineering and data science.

Faculty

4.5

At my college, the faculty-to-student ratio is around 15:1, which allows for a decent amount of interaction with professors. Most are approachable, especially if you take the time to attend office hours. A few stand out, like Dr. Thirupathi in organic chemistry. She’s passionate and uses real-life examples, making difficult concepts easier to grasp. She’s also super helpful outside of class, often guiding students with research or career advice. Another favorite is Professor Rao from computer science, who keeps things interactive and even runs coding workshops on weekend The course structure is a good balance of core requirements and electives. There’s a mix of theory and hands-on projects, especially in engineering, where we work on real-w
