VGEC Experience: A Comprehensive Student Perspective

Curriculum itself is the biggest reason containing the basic knowledge of electronics and communication department wherein we are learning about the Semiconductor devices like diodes,mosfet ,cmos . Thus learning about new technology of electronics which are quite widely used in all electronic devices like mobile phones ,laptop ,pc ,camera etc.

Students become eligible for placement after the 6th sem onwards because companies visit the campus during that duration providing internship and placement opportunities to students. Till now many companies have visited the companies like micron , infosys, einfichips, alphanumero, tcs, glide. There is around 60% students getting placed in the companies. I myself want to crack the on campus placement and get placed in reputed company with decent package.

Fee structure is divided into two section course fees and hostel fees onl if opted for hostel. Course fees is 1600 per semester and hostel fees is around 2000 per semester. Fee structure has remained same for all batches no changes.

There are a wide range of books and journals available in our library which includes course curriculum books , foreign author reference books and many other books related to science and technology. Some of the books are really outdated but few are really nice when it comes to curriculum

I chose this college because i got a decent branch with this college. Also i applied for ldce college but couldn't able to get pass the cutoff so ended up here . Admission process is simple you have to give gujcet exam and based upon exam merit is prepared combining your gujcet merit rank and class 12th percentage. Then afterwards your rank is given in form of percentile and then you go for Admission procedure.

The faculty including the professors are highly qualified and really helpful to help the students with everything . Some of the professors are highly collaborative and helpful to students for anything but few faculty members are restricted to their particular subject
