Course Curriculum Overview

4

In all the medical College the curriculum is the same so this factor dose not make much difference while selecting college. As mentioned earlier there are 4 exams per year 2 internals 1 pre University and 1 University. As we know mbbs is tough so are the exams so you need to study from the beginning.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

As in any other medical College we do our internship in 5 th year which is compulsory for all. And we also get a stipend of approx 21000/month. But as it's a government institution the stipend is not given regularly and is delayed.

Fees and Financial Aid

If you get a government seats you have to pay 64000/yr as tution fee (whole expense up to 1 lakh) if you get management seat you would have to pay 8 lakh 20 thousand as tution fee/year (whole expense upto 9 lakhs . This fee increase at the rate of 5% a year for new year .fee is same for all catagories butarls at which you get the college differs. Scolerships are available for sc/st students.

Campus Life

2.5

We do celebrate all the major festivals here and we do organise an annual fest every year. The co curricular activities are not very good but we do have sports like volleyball football cricket and badminton. We don't have and other cultural group. No clubs or students portals . Social life in not very happening here .

Hostel Facilities

4

The hostels are new so the conditions are good and we do have all the facilities available.as a fresher you will be given triple occupancy rooms , size is manageable. And from 3rd year onwards single occupancy rooms are given. Fee for triple occupancy room is 32000(including water and electricity) We have 2 mess and the food is good as the mess comes under student committee. Mess charges rs 50 for dinner and lunch and rs 35 for breakfast.

Admission

We get our medical College based on our neet UG scores. We get college through a councelling process conducted by NMC and based on your NEET UG scores you can see which colleges are in your range of marks and make a list. I had my college on 6th number on my list i dint get the 1st 5 colleges because the general seats were filled before me in the counselling process. Cutoff for government colleges varise from year to year so next year make sure your marks are above 640 .

Faculty

3

As any other new government medical College in Rajasthan this college also lacks in the teaching staff. But atleast in first year the teaching stall is good and the quality of of teaching is also good. In subsequent years you are on your own. Tare are 4 exam of each subject per year 2 internals 1 pre University and 1 University exam

Placement Experience:

We became eligible for placement after internship. Till internship,we don't have any choice to work anywhere else unless your family own a hospital. After internship,we can join a hospital as mbbs doctor or we can opt for examination like NEET pg or UPSC CMS or M.O. Highest package is 1-2 lakhs per month Lowest package is 50000 per month Percentage of students getting placement -80% My plan is to qualify neet pg and get a high ranked course .
