Course Curriculum Overview

Having the knowledge of human body and how it functions has always been of interest to me and it inspired me to choose this course. Also the curriculum requires high socials skills and toughens you up mentally and emotionally. The practicals and vivas are very helpful for the improvement of our social skills and are a great way to further enhance our knowledge on the given subject.

Class Size: 126Course Fees: INR 900000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

So the tution fee really just remains constant throughout the course but the cost of medical studies in general is pretty high. Scolarships are only provided to those with some sort of financial disability like an EWS or ESIC quota.

Campus Life

The campus is still not fully fledged and is under construction and development. Sports facilities aren't good enough and the annual fests are not good enough. There are no clubs/social groups established within the college. Libraries are stacked with books but the books aren't easily accessible.

Admission

The admission process is pretty long and complex. You can either apply through All India quota or through state quota in the NEET counselling. After allotment of the college and verification of the documents, medical examination of the students is done in order to check of they're fit for the course.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio so far is good in almost every department but might fall short in some. You can interact with the teachers everyday whenever you want. During working hours you can interact face-to-face and can interact via texts during the non-working hours. Teachers are very friendly and understanding.

I rate the course 5/5 because my dream is became doctor and serve the public. Nmc curriculum is influenced to choose this course because minimum passing percentage is 50 % . And attendance is 75% in theory and 80% in practicals.

Placement Experience:

We became eligible for placement after internship. Till internship,we don't have any choice to work anywhere else unless your family own a hospital. After internship,we can join a hospital as mbbs doctor or we can opt for examination like NEET pg or UPSC CMS or M.O. Highest package is 1-2 lakhs per month Lowest package is 50000 per month Percentage of students getting placement -80% My plan is to qualify neet pg and get a high ranked course .

Why u should choose SNMC JODHPUR over any college of Rajasthan

Course Curriculum Overview:

Its pretty good,there are internal assessment after every topic to check out students are getting or not. Also semester are there 1st and 2nd then after that puc and uc exam. Classes are daily and min attendance of 75%in theroy and 80%in practical are mandatory to sit in puc and uc.

The curriculum like i said is decided by NMC and the exams are set by RUHS so it is pretty much the same for every govt medical college The difficulty is medium honestly if u study regularly We have daily practical classes in the lab and practical exams are a very important part in the finals

First year and second year is non clinical subject so no pateint exposure and no posting as well...but final year and third year and intern has very high patient exposure and that is the time that a student gain knowledge by patients exposure

Government medical College barmer

We get our medical College based on our neet UG scores. We get college through a councelling process conducted by NMC and based on your NEET UG scores you can see which colleges are in your range of marks and make a list. I had my college on 6th number on my list i dint get the 1st 5 colleges because the general seats were filled before me in the counselling process. The entrance exam you have to clear to get into medical colleges is NEET UG which is organised by NTA.
