- I dont like the parking and canteen facilities at my college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is quite relevant is most of the subjects containing today's world topic like Artificial intelligence, Deep learning, Machine learning , Data Structures and Algorithms as my major is Computer science. But somewhere around the concepts are lagging behind in the terms of depth overview of topic.Theoritical ability exams should be decreased and practical ability analysis type of exams should be imposed more . The frequency and timings of exams are quite good for internal exams its 25 marks which we have to finish in 1 hr with moderate and easy level difficulty.
Placement Experience
The placements are quite moderate as the average package is 5Lpa and the highest package ranges around 12lpa and more . From 6th and 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. There are tier 2-3 companies visited my college and no. Of offers made were 5-10 per placement. My plans after getting the degree is to apply for masters through foreign universities.
Fees and Financial Aid
I got admission through Ts -Eamcet exam with CAP(Children of Armed Personal) category. So fee structure for me was 69000 college tuition fees including lab fees , 8000 University fees and other 1-2000 miscellaneous fees . For each Semester they take around 2500 for all subjects as exam fees. I got Central Government Scholarship of 30000 in 1st year which got cancelled after that because i got 1 backlog in my 1st year . About fees of my friends one of my friends he is from Bc category ans got good marks in Ts-Eamcet exam has veey less fees . He only has to pay university fees and examination fees.State Scholarship is available for other students i dont have much idea about it .
Campus Life
The Annual day and sports day are celebrated alternate years . Annual day is celebrated around September month and sports day around the month of july. The library is well maintained and loaded with all books and resources including 20 tables , all sort of genres to read , contains all academic books . The classrooms are also well maintained with good smartboards , projectors, proper bences and Labs are all Air conditioned. The indoor sports like table tennis, chess , carroms are well maintained and held in out college including inter year and branch compitetions every year but the we have facility of only 1 outdoor sport which is Volleyball. Clubs are quite limited only and almost nothing at our college.
Admission
I applied for CBIT (Chaitanya Bhartiya Institute of technology) , Sri Nidhi institute of science and technology, in the priority list of Ts-Eamcet exam and the 3rd spot was my college. I choose this college because it was affordable and it is located at the centre of the city which make it so easy to travel for day scholars . The other colleges rejected me because of my low rank at Ts-Eamcet examination. There are two ways of getting admission one through Ts-Eamcet exam after getting done with seat allotment and counselling . The other option is through Management quota which is basically buying seat as other private colleges also has this thing .
Faculty
The faculty to student ratio is 1:70 . Teachers are friendly to approach and we have access to there professional contacts too . So we can easily reach out to them for doubts . I liked Dr. Azahad Sir a lot because of his teaching style and dedication. And their is no faculty i dislike in general. So in a semester there are only 2 internal exams commonly called as Internal exam 1 & 2 and other than that we have lab exams and after that finally Semester or End sem exams. Internal exams are quite easy but semester exams are of moderate and sometimes hard level . Around 25-30 students out of 70 fail to clear some of the subjects during End Sem exams. The course curriculum is quite relevant in some subjects and quite out of date in some subjects .
