Remarks
Since college is relatively new, it hasn't achieved much fame. However, the college is trying it's best to become better and the growth achieved so far is quite good. This college wasn't in my top priority list during my online rounds. Due to having some medical conditions during examinations, I ended up here. To be honest, I don't have any regrets. The college is really trying it's best to become better and it's rather fun to be a part of a community which tries it's best to become better every year. If you want to study and grow, this college is for you.
Course Curriculum Overview
The college is affiliated to the Mumbai University and thus doesn't have a syllabus of its own. The syllabus provided by the Mumbai University is shallow and outdated. It does not meet modern needs. However, the college tries it's best to inform the students about the recent stuff and keep the students updated.
Placement Experience
Placement Cell of the college is good. Since it's a new college and is in its development stage, the packages are not that quite high. However, the students from CS/IT/ETRX/EXTC are well placed with a mediocre to high salary range jobs. The college did provide college internships this year for the students. Also, college TPO is quite helpful in the internship process.
College Events
There are Technical, Cultural as well as sports events celebrated in the college. These events provide ample opportunities for students to grow and learn many valuable lessons like Team Work, Event Management, etc. The UTSAV event is a grand event entirely organized by College students and it is funded entirely by the college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees are relatively lower than other colleges around. There are no other expenses except one which is for college stationery like assignment sheets and files. The college fees are just as same as the one stated on the website. There are no external expenses. There is a government bus service from the station which is relatively cheap.
Fees and Financial Aid
No. I didn't apply for any Scholarship or Education Loan. I am not sure but college does give some discount to the students who have low family income.
Campus Life
The Gender Ratio of college is pretty much good keeping in mind that this is an engineering college. The college is a minority college. However, there is a lot of diversity in college since there are students here from different backgrounds. There are sport competitions held as stated in the events section. Campus life is good. Various technical, as well as Nontechnical Competitions, are held in the college which are organized by the seniors as well as the college. There are also various departments like a coding department which helps the students learn advanced languages which are not in the syllabus. The training and Placement department is quite a department to be in since it gives an opportunity to have first-hand knowledge about how placement drive is held, how companies select candidates and stuff and thus help us bring positive changes within ourselves so as to be "Interview Ready".
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are quite helpful and kind. Since I was a member of the UTSAV hosting committee, I did have a lot of interaction with the seniors. So I can assure that that is no ragging or bullying.
Admission
I got into this college through JEE Mains entrance examination. The admission process was online and was quite simple. The staff is very friendly as well as helpful and thus offline work was really easy to complete. The college is a bit away from the station. But this also ensures a peaceful time of study because many barriers like noise are eliminated.
Faculty
The teaching faculty of the college is really helpful and are quite knowledgeable. They try the best to keep the students well acquainted with the recent needs of the technical society even though the syllabus provided by Mumbai University is quite outdated. Extra Lectures are also conducted for doubt solving if needed.
