Course Curriculum Overview
I choose iot the real reason was it is private institute so if i would have chosen cse core then it will be so much diffult to standout as a student in 30 sections but iot only has 1 section curriculum is good designed as per government policies , staff is also good , timing and frequency of exam is maintained every month class test are medium to hard
Internships Opportunities
Software developer engineer is the common roles under intership with stipend almost 10k per month . Intership opportunities are good as far as i know but as a first year student cant aay much about this
Placement Experience
From 6,7 semester students become eligible for campus placement . No of companies visited would be arount 200 , avg package 7lpa and highest is 75lpa domestic. About 90% student got placed , my plans after degree is to become patent officer
Fees and Financial Aid
Yearly fees strutcture of btech cse iot in srm ktr is 37500 for current year so for total 4 year feest for 2024 students is 15lakh and yes it will increase in coming year , there are defence scholarship 25%, toppers scholarship 100%i think for this cgpa should be 9.5+.no reservation in srm.
Campus Life
Campus life of srn is so vibrant all fests are celebrated and celebrities are also invited recently bhuvan bam came. Cmubs are really good in srm provides exposure . Sports position of srm is also really good we are at 11th position of khelo bharat . Class room has centralized ac and projector. Library is so huge everything is available in library so much of exposure
Hostel Facilities
Hostel fees is like allother private colleges . Hostel is good mine is meenakshi 3sharing non ac attached bathroom . Meal is good i think best in chennai no much oily food just simple and tasty ( but they make aloo paratha really thick). Registration process was hecting at time of online registration we have to book it within 30 sec just tap tap tap and payment.
Admission
I applied for jee ,iiith, comedk but unfortunately i was not able to crack these exam .as a person living in UP i should have chosen delhi colleges but tgere was no life in those colleges . Best advice would be to study good and ace in entrance exam
Faculty
Faculty are really good they have perfect knowledge of their subject they talk good with students and have good understanding, full perfect in english no language barrier can be faced . Class test are there teachers tell this topic might be coming in exam
