So about the curriculum it is not that complicated to choose bcom hons it is very common or you can say famous course among commerce students. You will come accrose woth subjects like accounts, mathematics, financial management, business studies, micro and macro economics and many more. My suggestion for improving the course is changing the teaching style and hire some mire experienced faculty.

You are eligible for placement after you 4th semester , They will also provide you noc if required for your placement, they actually dont have good companies I personally didn't went for placement because i have some other plans but some of my friends were there for placement, and from them I came to know that the companies are offering only 20-25 k month and on a remorte location, according to me which is not sufficient . Percentage of students got placements were around 50%. My plan after degree is that i am opting MBA because bcom hons is not such a huge degree that you will get good income from that only ,so if you want to boostup you career I suggest you must go for atleast MBA.

My semester fee was 52k and including examinations fee it comes to 54k per semester. And taking about the scholarship, the university itself provides you a scholarship for which you have to give a exam and accordingly your scholarship is decided, but to continue your scholarship you have to maintain a 8 cgpa throughout your college period. If you are trying to opt btech from Chandigarh university your fee might vary from 120000 to 150000 per semester.

So personally my campus life was bit boring because i am an introvert, about the clubs in college there are no such clubs it on you what you do no one is gonna come and invitr you for anyhthing there was a event flash mob in which only thr CR of your classe used to perform and stuff, apart from that you will have some 9x tashan night on wich some renound singer come accros. And a yearly is organised with the camy ony for i guess 3 days . About the books they have it all you are not required to purchse any of the books about your course you just simply go to the liabrary and ask them to issue the book. There is only one social group run by the college it's self , it was about blood donation.

So going to Chandigarh university was never my choice its was just the i got late for admission and at that tome the admission forms for all the university were closed and Chandigarh university was the last option left for me and I decided not to waste my whole year and i took admission in it. There is no such admission process for the university you just have toh fillup the form which costs you around 1000 then you have to submit the security fee 10k and the eligibility for my course was 50% in your class 12

So the faculty is quite disappointing. The teaching style is very poor they just come and open a pdf on smart board and continue reeding the pdf for you for the whole lecture. And taking about the student faculty relationship is was also so poor they treat you like nothing they won't listen you even if you are correct. And about the exam pattern you will have mst 1 mst 2 and then final semester exam the acaerage of MST 1 and MST 2 is to be added in your final examination, so its better to score good in these tow exam so it will be more easy to score good in final exam.
